The easiest thing I've found to become successful or to wind up doing what you really want to do; is to pay no mind to the rejection. I've been rejected probably thousands of times over; but because I wasn't LOOKING at people's negative responses, it pretty much went unnoticed. There WAS a time recently, in my past, where I took this personally; and seeing that within myself, I questioned WHY?; and decided to change up tactics/strategies of thinking and responding. For instance, on Facebook; I've been posting for over a decade... stuff that I believe could be really life changing; and saw that most people simply ignored it all. There weren't a lot of hateful comments; which I was a bit surprised about; because I HAVE experienced that in other areas of my life, like when I was selling stuff in those Facebook Martketplace seller groups; but other than that... it was more that I just didn't seem to be noticed. And I DID take it personally for a while; partly, because I saw how Facebook could be used to market you to a larger audience when building a business. And I had my heart and mind set on building a consulting/mentoring business in a key niche area. But over time, I realized that what's not for me is not for me. And I'm not for everyone. My stuff doesn't click with everyone and it's probably going to be highly polarizing at some point. And that's a good thing. Some people will hate, others aren't affected; and others can't get enough of it. But what I realized is that I've ALREADY been rejected tens of thousands of times over; but simply chose to not view it that way. Rather than focusing on all those who won't come to make comments or engage with me on my various platforms, such as my You Tube channel; I've decided that I will give space for those who DO come, and I will treat them with dignity and engage with them much more fully. I see my lack of high numbers of an audience or viewers as a good thing, in that I can give each person who DOES comment, much more of my individualized attention (for now). My guess is that there will come a time when critical mass is reached, and suddenly I blow up big. At that time it will be much harder to get back to people and show so much individualized attention; so I'm savoring this time I have with a small number of viewers and commenters; before success hits massively. This is how I keep myself from becoming depressed and quitting when it gets hard. I learn to look at those situations which are psychologically taxing to most creators or influencers - in a different light. In short, I create my own definitions and my own meaning; while at the same time, having a firm grip on what is actually going on. I'm not living with rose colored glasses here. It's not like I'm deluding myself about the impact I'm having at the moment; I'm simply changing what that MEANS and how I will choose to respond to it from now on. DM

I (aqua) am watching all your videos now.
