The thing is, I think Roger Waters is a great songwriter, the heart and soul of Pink Floyd. His lyrics display an acute understanding of the human condition. With that said, he is completely wrong in this regard, there is overwhelming evidence about the atrocities commited on October 7th. I think it is a case of cognitive dissonance. He has invested so much into his personal cause that he has turned a blind eye to the facts. It is a shame when you see intelligent people hold fast to their ignorance when it challenges their preconceived notions. You can't separate the art from the artist? I can appreciate Christian art, even though I opposed much of what it stands for. Many of the artists I listen to are extremists. Zach DeLaroque, Tom Morello, Varg Vikernes, etc. I like Kevin Spacey movies even though I think he's creepy, I like Bill Cosby's Comedy records, even though he's a rapist. Good art is good art to me. And I love Pink Floyd's music, even if Roger is a total tool.

Roger Waters didn't write Comfortably Numb, Run Like Hell or Another Brick - David Gilmour did and Waters had cowriting credit. Your favorite Pink Floyd songs are all Gilmour

But my favorite songs from The Wall are Don't Leave Me Now and Hey You. Comfortably numb is great, but it's overplayed. Dude, I can't stand Roger either, but to deny that his writing is the heart and soul of The Wall is just petty. The original demo for Run Like Hell was just the main riff, Roger gave the lyrics and brought the song to life.
