I was so annoyed with Bill at the start. It is so frustrating in solo queue when your only chance at escaping is hatch and your teammates choose to teabag at the gate. And against an Oni in his power it's not like Bill could have body blocked. I completely misjudged the Bill. He was clutch.

Honestly, out of all characters picked by newbies, Bill players were usually at least somewhat helpful by saving and being altruistic while Megs, Leons etc do nothing at all. Plus now that many people pick other characters as starters, us Bill players can clear our names a bit. High prestige Bills with a good amount of hours are rare, but they make up for all the bad ones, at least in my experience. When I didn't play my Ace, I used my default Bill so killers would chase me since everyone just assumes you are new. Doesn't really work now with high prestige😂

@@heartclock08 i think the prompt to recover actually got in the way, sometimes when i'm dropped in hatch the same happens, i spam the mouse but i keep recovering for no reason, behavior doesnt know how to make prompt priority, self care with unhooking/healing was an example

@@Luvcas.That's because it's based on your position on the hatch. The prompt doesn't appear if you're not positioned properly on it. My theory is it's to avoid the "falling down through hatch" animation looking too weird. Also, if recovery was a priority, you would never be able to leave through the hatch as a downed survivor ever to begin with, so it wouldn't make much sense anyway. And I've played with self-care before and never had an issue unhooking someone. It only happened when trying to heal someone. And even then, it was usually because the other survivor was pressing SHIFT or moving, or I wasn't positioned properly (in which case, I still wouldn't have been able to heal them, even if I wasn't running self-care, as it happened many times to me).
