In the Philippines, we only have 2 kinds of Days: either its yellow heat-stroke Summer Days, or grey flooding rainy days. Anything in between is a blessing.

Thank you for your recommendations-it’s always good to get some different titles for the tbr. As a Floridian I can confirm Florida Man is real. However, part of the reason why the stories are so well known is because Florida law requires publication of all crimes. Other places have weird crimes but it is harder to learn about them.

Emma!! You may or may not remember I commented a few weeks ago that I'd gotten your necklace. And I'm obsessed with it. In love. But on Sunday/Monday June 23/24 I was rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night and it eventually became apparent that I needed surgery ASAP. I got there around 1AM, I was heading to the OR by 8. As I was being prepped, they said I had to take off absolutely everything other than the hospital gown and socks--I guess in case, God forbid, something went wrong, there wasn't anything in the way. Or if they needed to shock my heart or something, they don't want metal on your body, because electricity and metal don't mix. Whatever, anyway, I was a little panicked because that meant I had to take the necklace off, which I'd been wearing since it came, and stick it in my backpack, and I was so worried that it was going to become irreparably knotted, or break, or get scratched, or something. Because, you know, I have my priorities in check 🤣 But I just finally had the energy to take it out of my bag and put it back on, and she is glorious. Absolutely perfect. Held up just fine. I am so relieved. Anyway, I figured you'd like to hear that the quality is on point, and it can withstand a backpack stuffed with books, notebooks, pens, electronics and wires, etc.

Two videos in a row!!! Thank you Emma! Also, your explanation about The Ministry of Time towards the end of your last video really had me thinking. I''m 22, about to turn 23 in a week, but the fact that I am scared to say some things that people in my life could misinterpret speaks on how much social media has changed our real life social interactions. Close friends that I have known since elementary school, and I have to be careful with what I say. I'm definitely picking this book up as soon as I finish Animal Farm. Thank you for sharing your experience with The Ministry of Time!!
