I'm back with another Paris vlog and episode in the living alone diaries. going places, making art and working on some new art shows, going to cafés, seeing live jazz, galleries and fashion week events. I have been really trying to find balance between work and social life this year, tender and wholesome moments with friends and evolving my career. "the art studio isn't a factory, its a laboratory" as an artist struggling to get past my art block and get that sense of freedom and fun into my art again, this line really resonated with me. there is so much solitude that is necessary to "get work done" but it can be dangerous when u don't produce and then you get into a negative cycle. i always find i create my best work when i approach my art with no expectations, a sense of freedom and idk how to describe this, a lightness in my heart. i feel my chest tighten up when i think too hard about getting things done but then when i just think about having fun, it feels like i'm taking a breath of fresh air. thanks for ur insights, its really been helping me and so many others :)

Hi Shayna, it’s so funny how so many of us caught the comment on whether we’re here for Paris or art stuff. I think I found your channel in early 2020. Obviously, your work is amazing and I love the Paris content because it reminds me of what feels like my second home. But what I’ve loved the most is how you’ve been fearless to change it up and to share super vulnerably. In the beginning I was watching to learn more french, then you were going through a break up and your sharing helped me get through mine around the same time, and now we get to continue to watch you find yourself and explore all the things that really interest you. This is your best video of the ones I've seen. Great editing and lots of interesting footage moving along from one captivating scene to another. You're a real original, the embodiment of a creative spirit. You are wonderfully articulate. And funny. And cute. And gorgeous. And talented.
