I don't like those old school mens fragrances like Aramis and Ted Lapidus. Extremely potent fragrances that burn your nostrils. I don't mind the modernised versions. I am waiting for a deal on Aramis' Tobacco Reserve before it's completely gone (discontinued) and recently bought Chanel's Pour Monsieur EDP. Those fragrances hint at the old school, but aren't as IN YOUR FACE as the originals are.

The originals are definitely potent, haha. Speaking of Aramis I’ve read that both Tobacco Reserve and Modern Leather are much nicer than the OG Aramis. Have you tried either of those? I’m going to pick up the leather one if I ever see it around.

@@AussieMarcel Apparently the Tobacco Reserve smells a bit like Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille. I really need a nice tobacco fragrance in my collection that lasts (because D&G The One doesn't ^_^)

Try Burberry London. It’s a rich tobacco heavy fragrance and lasts for about six hours on my skin. CK Shock is heavy on the tobacco too but it’s a CK fragrance so you probably know it isn’t a longevity beast.
