Some thoughts on housekeeping!

Ive been struggling with housekeeping lately, feeling overwhelmed . But some how I could receive this from you. Because your Unhurried Grace Book was such a blessing to me. You speak wisdom that's not flashy but real. Your value system comes through in your books & how you've raise your children according to the Lord, has simplified and changed my perspective of where I can lead my children. Thank you for your books, they have been a warm, assuring guidance to my soul :) Thank you for trusting the Lord!

Thank you for sharing this, Durenda! You’ve been a great encouragement for me in our homeschool journey, so I appreciate your momentum this year. We are on year 5. We live in a small home built in 1888. There’s not a lot of storage space. Clutter can build up quick. Funny thing is I am a housekeeper 1 day/week but struggle to have routine with my own housekeeping. My mindset about taking care of our home is positive, but any help is a blessing!

It can certainly be the hardest place to be diligent. We just moved out of a small space and it's a challenge to minimize the clutter, but such a good feeling when we do!

What a refreshing, beautiful perspective on housework 😍 It's a little after 11 as I finish this video and I am just itching to go scrub all the floors or something of the sort lol. Thank you Durenda for sharing, we younger women are so blessed to at least have access to videos/podcasts of older women who are fulfilling their duty of teaching younger women since it is often hard to find someone in church who is doing this. I hope you continue with these videos too! God bless your family as you go through the trials you mentioned 🙏❤️

I really value your advice and have been blessed by the wisdom from your podcasts and books. I’m a second generation homeschool mom to 4 children in 5.5 years. We are on “year 3” of homeschooling.
