I think in order to be able to deal with the death of a loved one, you need to get in touch with your own mortality. Life on earth is all we get and living it to the fullest leaves us fearless in front of death. You are still making your loved ones' lives more beautiful. (:

Annebelle! When you sleep in an upright position like that you won't sleep very soundly... :/ I've always heard that it's good to sleep propped up when taking a nap because it will prevent you from falling into a deep sleep. Try sleeping in a more flat position! I hope this helps ❤️

I just can't describe how happy your videos make me. I often see comments like these on KZbin videos but its not until now i understand, as I've finally found a vlogger I 100% love and resonate with. It helps that your also at college etc and living away from home I can really connect with that. The past few weeks I've been so down and homesick, it probably doesnt help i've fallen out with my flatmates so I've had no one to talk to or hang out with but at the same time its been fun doing things by myself, which you inspired me to do. You constantly attend things alone or go walks by yourself and before I used to never do anything alone I always needed a 'chum' or someone to accompany me whereas now I've been taking regular walks to the beach etc. So thank you so much for giving me confidence in myself. I've also rediscovered my love for art (again inspired by you!) and have been taking time out to paint etc which has been so soulful and resting. Sending a truck load of love your way ❤️❤️

When you started talking about your cat, dad, and grandpa it really hit close to home. Just last week I was crying because I remembered my dog would die one day. It's difficult to enjoy their presence when you think about the inevitable fact that they will pass. I think pets have a different role in our life like our little therapists and when they pass it's like all of these thoughts you shared with them have to find a new channel. It's harder to have another pet after your first one because each pet is different from each other. I remember expecting my next dog to be exactly like my old one, but they are never the same. I think that is great at the same time because you are able to experience different personalities and quirks they have. I don't really know where I was going with this, but I hope you can be with your family and pets soon. I know being far away from home for university is so difficult but I know and see that you are doing tremendous things in Rhode Island. I remember when my grandma was in and out of the hospital it was hard for the whole family. We used to live in the bay area but moved away for our family business. My mom was constantly traveling back to the bay area when my grandmother was in the hospital and my dad had to be both parents for a while. It was difficult on all of us and she is way better now, but she still struggles as she had cancer (we didn't know until recently). My grandmother is a trooper and still, bickers with us over little things. It may be stressful to us but she loves to argue with us because it makes her feel alive LOL. Life is difficult and these emotions we feel are ever constant and come in waves at times. All we need to do is hope and pray that they pass gently like snow melting on the first day of spring. I will continue to pray for rest for your heavy heart and to bring healing in every aspect of your family's life. I love watching your vlogs as they help when I feel anxious and overwhelmed by life. Take care, Annabelle!

The loss in limbo. I never heard of this term before but it is exactly what I had to deal with my last couple of year of college/a couple years after. My mom's cancer came back and she was trying different chemo drugs to try to stop the cancer from spreading. Those years were some of the hardest years in terms of my own anxiety and grief. I always just tell people that I started grieving early... but this loss in limbo part sounds very much what I experienced. You want to hope for the best, but at the same time it seems that you can see the inevitable when things are going a certain way and your mind goes there/you start grieving early. I'm not really sure how to advice you on how to get out of that, but I will just say, stay strong. You will get through it. It might be hard, but you'll get through it and you'll be a stronger person because of it. And your dad and grandpa will always love you and be with you.

I really appreciate how authentic your vlogs are. I understand that some don't want to let negativity into their vlogs, but I believe that showing real, honest parts of your life that require strength and endurance give inspiration to viewers. A lot of vloggers only show the positive parts of their lives, which had negative affects on viewers who are going through hard times themselves. Life is not all good, and life is not all bad. Keep up the good work!

Hi Annabelle, you probably don't read this but, it's the first ever video that I watched from your channel-found it on the recommendations bar and I did not regret clicking it at all! So I'm 21 years old (this year), I'm taking degree in interior design overseas, first time living far from my parents, and I've been having some rough times with myself lately, well actually since last year. Last year was my second year of study, I didn't know what happened to me, I started to lose my motivations and I'm failing classes and stuff. I've never been like this before, I was always doing good in school. And now I often find myself crying and feeling depressed, having a breakdown, and being unmotivated in life. Whether I'm not having enough sleep, or having too much sleep. I'm not taking care of myself, not eating healthy, and sometimes being suicidal. It was the hardest year in my life, and it's not over yet, I'm still feeling the same way. But by watching your vlog, by seeing how you see things, by listening to you, it calms me down. I know you may think that you did nothing and it doesn't solve my problem anyway, but it really helps me. For 17 minutes I was feeling calm and not worrying about anything else, and that means a lot to me. So thank you :) I hope you keep making this kind of videos and I'll be sure to watch them because I just subscribed, and I know you have your problems too and I hope that you stay strong and no matter what happens, always remember that you are special. x

Hello, I know how exactly how you feel. I moved abroad to study also, and I know just how difficult it is. Just remember how proud your parents are of you, and by not studying you are preparing to fail. I assume your parents are paying for education? Just remember that if you fail then they'll have to pay more for you to retake the classes. I know it's hard, but it will be over soon, as time goes so fast. Just look forward, and soon you'll be graduating, and you'll look back and see that the hardship was worth it.
