Very helpful tips man! I’m not a high level player and my collection of Phobies is really limited but I’m learning new things from your tips and tricks videos all the time. The hardest thing I personally find to do is being able to formulate my own play style for each map and knowing when to use them and which Phobies have good synergy so I can better decide how to spend keys during a match like when using ‘primate #9’ might work better than using ‘daisy’ for example. They both cost 4 keys, it’s being able to have the ability to asses the situation and judge which will give you the most value. Hope that made sense? Anyway, brilliant videos! Look forward to seeing whatever you decide to make next, take care :)

That kind of thing is rather hard to explain since there's a ton of units in the game that can fulfil similar roles, and which one is better is situational and depends on both the map, what you've summoned and especially on what the opponent has summoned. 🙂 For example Ginsting vs Daisy vs Primate (which is your example - They all fulfil the role of being a 2-2 (2 movement 2 range) unit, Primate effectively having 2 range with it's ability ofc): Primate 9 is pretty much only the better choice if there is a highly contested stim pad on the board (the main examples are the maps Pluto and Phobos, though sometimes it's also okay on Fornacified), this is because it can leap off the stim pad and then another one of your ranged units can use the stim pad again (so you get to use it twice in one turn which can create some pretty good swings where you kill a bunch of stuff) Ginsting is the 'base' good one which is used the most due to it essentially just being decent at everything (decent hp, decent attack, good mobility and range) and it also having a good ability (the aoe attack is often relevant) Daisy is mostly used in situations where the opponent has no 1-keys or other small units (or they have some but they're far into the map away from where the Daisy plans to go) and preferably that they also have some slow (1 move) units, since stepping on the bones can be pretty annoying for the opponent then. Sometimes people also just take it because it has a pretty good amount of attack (a good chunk more single target dmg than the Ginsting) This kind of comparison can be done with a lot of units across the different tiers and (like I said) which ones to use mostly just comes from playing a good bunch of games. 😄

@@ManInYellowPhobies crikey, I didn’t expect you to go in depth with the examples I gave but I really appreciate you taking the time and effort to explain all that, thank you! 😃 and I agree, playing around with all the different mechanics and the strengths and weaknesses of the Phobies in each key tier and comparing them will give a better idea of which phobie suits a certain situation. But I guess to do that in real time you’d have to be willing to play games without trying to win all the time so you allow yourself to make mistakes and try things that will or won’t work.

I've noticed you have your ogre on lvl 3. Tbh it is my favorite phobie and it works for me pretty well (I'm only in doomsday 3 tho), so is it that bad/hard to play on high lvl matches? Thx for the vid, love your content❤

I actually leveled it since this video and it's now level 14 (since it got buffed), I'm personally still not a huge fan of it (some of the other high ranking players seem to think it's fine though). Personally I want any phobie that I pay 7 or more keys for to do something special, and Ogre doesn't really do that - It just hits really hard. I feel like if you're getting heart rushed it's rarely what you need to stabilize, and if you already stabilized after a heart rush attempt then there are better options. Just my opinion though - It's a lot better after the recent buff. :) Also happy to hear you're enjoying the vids 💛

You said something about attacking with undeads first? Pls elaborate
@ManInYellowPhobies10 ай бұрын
Undeads have 40% life steal on their passive and this only affects the damage that you acually do with them. This means that if you for example are killing an enemy unit with 1000 health using a undead with 300 attack and any other race with 300 attack attacking with the monster first would leave the enemy at 400 health which you undead would then only be able to life steal 160 health from, if you instead attack with the undead first it will deal 600 damage which will life steal 240 health instead. :) This ofc doesn't matter if your undead is already max hp, but if it's damaged it can matter a lot, and it's just a good habit to have. :D
