1 John 2: 1 My little children, I’m writing these things to you so that you might not sin. Yet if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father-Jesus, the Messiah, one who is righteous. Read again the book of 1 John 1 where you're quoting from! Note that the KJV is the one which did peddle that idea when they did their translating, but look at original language "Greek " you'll note that the correct transliteration should be "a Christian doesn't make it their habit to sin/doesn't make it their custom to sin" One simple proof in case you don't get to have a Greek lexicon, read that 1 John 2:1 will be seen in direct contradictory to the idea presented in chapter 1 that Christians don't sin🤷‍♂️ # I'm in ways condoning sin nor promoting carnality, it's just biblical truth!
