The Beach, is among the elites in harness racing, with Dan Patch, Adios, Meadow Skipper, Abatross, Niatross, Cam Fella, Niahlator, Artsplace, and so many more great ones, and of course Bulldog Hanover, and Bret Hanover.

He did it easy, this is the best pacer and stallion of all times. I loved this horse, always will. Rest in peace big fella, i will never forget you.

You never saw Niatross then, same type speed two generations ahead of his time, and doing it with old conventional bike, leather harness, and dirt track without banked turns..Somebeach, best since then, but not better then him..

Last post on this..Niatross loss's rumored him to be drugged,(Lou Guida, was known to be mobbed up) once going over rail , second, still not recovered, once they put security detail on his stable- he never lost again again

Wow! Love to watch that Beach Boy run! He was 16 hands and did seem to tower over the others. The stretch and power of those legs was amazing!

At least they never had to worry about negative show pools with Paul MacDonell driving. A crying shame the horse didn't have a better driver.

@@jimcunningham61 MacDonell was a slightly below average driver at Greenwood and Mohawk at the time. A horse of that caliber should have had a much better driver.

Terrible race call by mumbles menudo....talking about Campbell wanting cover and getting it, as his horse was backing through the field. Just brutal.
