It's the tension of all the babies, and he wanted to do it again. Out of season Chunk is not going to happen. Nibbles is tired of being a milk machine and a mom in a tiny mud hole. Special needs of a mommie are hard enough when she has babies who are very very young. Keep eating Nibbles, it will be over till next year.

I suspect Chunk wanted a 'romantic interlude' with Nipples - I mean, Nibbles - and she's too worn out from raising his kids, and told him so! Those boobs of hers are enormous - all eight of them! And she has to lug them around without an 8-cup support bra. Gotta feel for the poor girl! It's fantastic how Farmer Jeff provides all that wonderful, fresh and varied food for the Chunk family and all the other critters. The expectant and nursing moms will all benefit, as will their babies. These are just about the healthiest wild animals you'll see anywhere. BRAVO JEFF and much love from the UK! XXX

I think it's a raven. They have that graspy, almost croaky sound. The thick crown of feathers on his head are more raven than crow. Amazing catch by the camera!

Did you know you can be certified to have a Certified Wildlife Habitat in your backyard? You have to provide food, water, cover, and a place to grow young ones. It seems you provide that. One year I got a certification for my dad for Father's Day. Because he provided that for all the critters that came to our yard. We had a water source, provided food, had a thick growing of bushes....which provided cover and a place for the young ones to be protected from the elements trees of all kinds, We had wild raspberry bushes, corn, bird seed, nuts, apples, strawberries, peaches, crab apples, and a full garden for us... but they partook of. We had squirrels, every kind of bird, chipmunks, raccoons, possums, skunks, ground hogs, deer, rabbits, foxes, and more. Our bungy jump cord that had an ear of corn on the end was such fun to watch when the squirrels landed on it and bounced up and down while trying to eat. Anyway, thought you would like to know.
