I'm Pima and Tohono O'odham. This map is beautiful. There is nothing wrong with Crowfeather and the feathers. Native Americans do not own feathers. Every culture wears feathers in their hair. PLEASE continue using feathers in designs, it brings us much needed spotlight since we aren't included in a whole lot nowadays. As long as it's not headdresses, regalia, or dream catchers, we. don't. care. We don't own feathers, people from Africa all the way to Norway have worn feathers in the hair for CENTURIES. Thank you.

@@lunamar269 Exactly, I've danced Baile Folklorico for 8 years, both indigenous and Hispanic styles from different regions in Central America, Southwest in North America, and South America. Many regions use feathers in performance-wear. What's funny is that Ukrainians dance a style of Folklorico too. I don't know if they use feathers but I wouldn't doubt that they do. I can't believe people go all keyboard warrior over something that comes from birds. It really breaks my illusion I had growing up with these books that the clans were like nations, so I could feel proud of my culture and envision some cats adorning feathers and such, especially medicine cats since they are the ones who share visions with Starclan and remind me a lot of Medicine people in the nations since they were both healers and spiritual guides to their people.

The fact that a Native had the audacity to enable this all in the first place shows their own ignorance to other cultures that have feathers as a part of it.

@@andreavezina5989 exactly, feathers do not belong to us and honestly were probably used by other cultures long before we used them. Imagine how people would whine and cry if they found out we also heavily use turtles as symbolism and in our regalia as well? No more turtle anything for anyone who isn't native because it's "cultural appropriation" The I like turtles kid would get canceled so fast. Honestly, this white knighting and keyboard warrior-ing for people(who could actually care less about a bunch of digital pixels being "offensive") is getting so old.

This map is probably one of my favourites due to the song, art, and character designs, but also mostly the presentation of the characters. I've always felt a connection through ashfur's and nightcloud's character because they try so hard to make squirrelflight/crowfeather happy but no matter how hard they try crowfeather/squirrelflight will never care for them as much as they care for leafpool/brambleclaw and I've been in moments like this in my life and i've tried making the people happy for years but they could care less and would rather hang around someone who could care less about them, but it feels good to see ashfur/nightcloud to finally realize and for crowfeather/squirrelflight to realize they made the wrong decision and feel guilty. I haven't seen a map like this *ever* so it's nice to see a new map that shows the characters for how they really feel and not ashfur just being -emo- sulky and depressed or night'cloud being a jealous and mean cat. thank you for creating this map its really amazing!

There is nothing wrong with your character designs wearing feathers in their hair or in this instance fur many cultures around the world have worn it as an accessory such as the Celts or even the Asians and Africans. My ancestors were Cherokee I don’t mind if you choose to let your designs wear feathers I even have drawn before Jayfeather wearing a blue jay’s feather. I even used to wear a pink and black feather in my hair as an accessory.

How the heck are feathers only related to native Americans? There are plenty of other cultures that use this. It isn’t offensive in any way!
