Pastor Raul, I have been a caregiver of my husband that is confined to a bed on palative care. I will be 66 this year and my husband has committed adultery and lied and stolen our entire marriage of 47 years. He nearly passed away twice since 2023 and I thought he would get right with God. He is unrenpentful . Am I obligated to care for him until death? I am torn on what to do. I am physically exhausted and he cannot move his body so alot is required of me. I will feel guilty if I put him into a long care facility. What would Christ want me to do?

Take care of yourself and don't feel bad about putting him in a LTCF. If you're exhausted and it's becoming hard than you need help. I won't wear myself down and kill myself . Sometimes you need another caregiver or medical people who help you with ya love ones.
