You touched on the question I was going to ask : how different are the original changes compared to the ones played by jazz musicians? I’ve heard Stella originally began with two measures of Bb diminished, for example, and I’m sure that’s not the only change that was made. Fascinating to think about who decided to change things the way they did (and the reasoning behind those changes).
