If you are new to fighting games one of the hardest parts of the learning process is losing. We all lose from time to time just like somedays you'll win more. Don't let it get you down its all part of the game. Learning to accept your losses and showing respect to your opponent for doing some cool stuff/combos/reads etc will help ease away the pain of taking the L/getting styled on. Get back up and go again. GGs

I still absolutely seethe sometimes after getting bodied. Such a hard skill to learn

I was fuming yesterday cause my input execution and the stuff I tried to practice just wasn't going well. SF6 being my first fighting game is rough when I I'm trying to find ways to learn in a practical manner. So thanks for the positive reminder.

I experienced a lot of frustration when I was at Platinum 2 and went on a losing streak of 15 in a row. I was very upset and depressed. Look at me now - I took Diamond 1, defeating two masters in ranked matches, and several more in regular matches. Learn. Adapt. And your enemies will taste deFEET (Yeah, im Juri main😂)

I needed to hear this (read in this case 😅) thank you 🙏

I've been applying this to games I play like Siege and Overwatch 2. Sometimes you get spawn peeked and it's frustrating, sometimes the other team has a Widowmaker and has made life for everyone on your team more difficult. Learning that sometimes things aren't easy.

lol, I feel ya. There's days where my Gief will be strong, other days I say to myself "What just happened?" . Losing is the only way to learn

This is why demondan is my GOAT getting bodied is something that happens to everybody and esp if you want to main big bodied beauties like Grief you gotta be prepared to be on the receiving end of some spectacular ass whoopings! It's important to learn how to accept these ass whoopings and be able to take a step back and appreciate the opponents skill. Never forget, Zangief would absolutely encourage you to keep working at it!

Seeing a high-level Kimberly in action is a rarity that makes up for the loss, I think.

Nothing scarier than a grappler walking at you, confident in the dominant strength of his normals and suffocating offense. Seeing them get bodied is exhilarating to say the least. (ex-ken player here, the corner carry carried me all the way to master and now I want to actually have fun)

You don't get the W without taking some Ls. The Ls don't stop even when you think you have mastered the game. The point is to have fun. You can't do that if you doubt yourself after every loss, and you can't do that if every win is given to you. Gotta have that sense of determination. Don't question yourself when you get crushed. Enjoy those rare moments where you are at pixel health and the game keeps going. You got perfected? Next round, try and hit them with at least one attack. Keep going. Demondan has that figured out. That's why we watch. That's why we stay LOYAL. Let em know king!

I greatly appreciate this video; one of the reasons I rarely play fighting games is that sooooooooo many people are sore losers- top tier or no top tier. We all get cooked- it just be like that sometimes. But calling your opponent carried, slurs, or whatever people do these days? That's just gonna put people off the game. It helps no one.

In fighting games I never get frustrated because I lost but I can get frustrated whenever I think I play poorly. I do enjoy the challenge of facong a more skilled player and seeing what kind of cool combos they do

I recently tried to get back into street fighter 6 (I got it when it released and got bodied hard) so I raged and dropped it for a bit. I am now ready to try this again, knowing I will inevitably lose… but with a new mindset in tow I will hopefully have some success this time Edit: I have reached Gold 5 with Rashid and I have developed a sense of humility! I still have my loses from time to time but I can now mix in a couple of wins to soften the blows

Honestly, it's an uphill battle fighting both good Luke's and Juri's. Gief really can't compete with their strengths and arsenals.
