I was talking about this gun on Reddit and how well it pairs with IceFall Mantle on Titan, as the Permeability perk works on activation AND deactivation of the overshield - so you can activate it, and get an overshield and a 4x weapon damage to your newly activated Stasis auto. I was pairing it with a Slice Scatter Signal, so I would activate the overshield for Ros, use until the 4x damage ran out, switch to Scatter and deactivate the shield for unraveling rounds, and then repeat.

The scorecard system is awesome and glad you're asking for feedback on it. Perhaps that relevance category could be longevity instead? Answering the question of "Is this gun built different, or is it very good RIGHT NOW because of XYZ factors (mainly the artifact)"? I know that I would personally like to know that about a gun so I know what to prioritize.

I just got a Repulsor Brace/Onslaught roll and I'm excited to slot it into my Briarbinds rotation. I was already using a The Title with Repulsor (which I also got a new one this year that has Repulsor and Destabilizing Rounds, also excited about that) and this will be useful for the longer ranged fights, I think! I also have a Subsistence/Onslaught roll that I've been messing around with, and it's a little redundant but it's very fun to just tear through add packs with. You definitely sold me on the Permeability roll, though, I'll be looking out for that!

I think permeability and golden tricorn is a good combo. You can have a strand/stasis weapon on the energy slot and run something else on the primary slot.

Small shoutout to the combination of Rewind Rounds+Deconstruct: Deconstruct adds ammo back into the magazine (from reserves; in this case, INFINITE reserves) just for repeatedly inflicting damage, then Rewind Rounds refills the mag based upon how many shots hit targets. This can potentially give the user 100+ shots before having to reload.

I managed to have the extreme luck of having my very first Ros Arago IV pickup to have Polygonal Rifling, Flared Magwell, Repulsor Brace, Onslaught, with a Reload MW. It is *chef's kiss * at survivability and add clear, and is now welded to my Void Gyrfalcon Hunter's hands.

The first two I got of this weapon were permeability with Onslaught and the other was permeability with golden tricorn. Using them on any sub class is hella fun and I definitely recommend them if you like auto rifles. One of my new favorites for sure

It's like a better unforgiven in pve. More range, higher dps when you proc onslaught, more spammy thanks to the doubled mag size and fast reload from onslaught and the same benefit from having repulsor brace. The gun is so good that I actually went back to playing void hunter with gryfalcon after being balls-deep in solar this season.

Last night managed to get Ros Arago 4 w/ arrowhead, accurized, repulsor, and onslaught with a range masterwork along with psi hermetic 5 w/ arrowhead, flared mag, enlightened action,c and headseeker with a handling masterwork. I've gotten my share of both of these weapons but these 2 really really cook. They are dropping in Star Crossed Exotic mission for Wish-Keeper.

When I first saw the perks I knew I wanted to try golden tricorn permeability and onslaught with a reload perk. Luckily my third or fourth drop was rewind rounds onslaught which I have loved. If I could I would change the barrel to arrowhead to fix the recoil pattern, but I have been doing fine with extended barrel's recoil aid and using steady hands to up the stability. While I haven't gotten a golden tricorn permeability roll I do have a golden tricorn dynamic sway roll in my post master. Since I don't run void often I wasn't keeping my repulsor brace onslaught rolls, but I may give it a try now. Who knows maybe it will replace my age old bond. Regarding categories I think acquisition difficulty and roll list size would be good because a ranking system comparing weapon sources would be nice since for example trials and competitive can be harder than iron banner and regular crucible or like how nightfall is harder than strikes. Additionally the larger the perk pool the harder it is to get what you want. A roll list size category could account for how easy it is to get a good roll or a desired roll. With both of those categories people can more easily decide if it is worth the grind in their eyes.

I've got a roll with dynamic sway and Golden tricorn, its an absolute monster in pvp and pve, its got either accurized or tac mag and arrowhead or fluted, any combo of those feels amazing in any content, not to mention the sound is amazing and is one we haven't heard on a weapon in a while, I'm absolutely loving using this weapon and I'm glad world drops are such must haves these days, gives a bit more diversity to the sandbox where normally everyone ran the same few things, feels like early on witch queen all over again!

I have two out of three rolls I want from this: 1) Permeability+Golden Tricorn - There's a few weapons rolling this and it's just a nice pairing. I have this on all the primaries that can get it, so hooray for me. 2) Rewind Rounds+Onslaught - Wanted RR or Subsistence, got RR. It's nice and handy. 3) Permeability+Onslaught - This is the last one I want. Permeability is such a step up from Osmosis that I don't understand why Osmosis always rolls the way it does (i.e. usually in the damage column, rarely on heavies and never on strand/stasis). Permeability makes a gun that can be used with every build. Osmosis makes legendary shards and glimmer.

I have one with permeability and onslaught, and I heard there was a neat interaction with foe tracer, where if you slot 3 void surge mods on your boots, then dodge to change the element, damage a higher tier enemy to proc your x5 damage buff for your subclass damage, I can't remember where I heard it, but if you're charged with light, the void buff still applies on top of the x5 strand buff, that I was using, and let me tell you. It shreds.

I'm sorry about ranting but I just feel like sharing my feelings as well, which are much the same! I got a great roll of Repulsor Brace/Onslaught and it absolutely SHREDS in PVE! It replaced most of my void kinetics for my Void builds. I usually love Funnelweb because of the high RPM and incredible feeling of it, but my problem with Funnelweb is the lack of Repulsor Brace. Which Positive Outlook has, at the cost of less fun with a worse RPM and ( imo ) feeling/gun model. And here Bungie drops this banger, the best of both worlds with both High RPM ( Onslaught ) and Repulsor Brace ( Immortality )! I instantly went to try it out in PVE and decided to rebuild my Hunter's Gyrfalcon around this. I also have a Subsistence/Onslaught for my Briarbinds Warlock which will be great to play if I don't need the survivability, these are the inly two I kept of the around 6 I dropped since the season start, I'm really happy I got this lucky to discover the greatness of the Ros Arago IV! ( Also still waiting for the craftable Void SMG with Repulsor Brace, Bungie please )

you can't get this gun from gunsmith engrams. you may get it from the "spare parts" weekly, or from powerful rank up engrams on the first rewards track, but otherwise you won't get anything newer than S19 seraph from unfocused gunsmith engrams specifically. the change they made this season was to remove recent guns from gunsmith engrams, and in exchange they made world drops way more relevant: world drop weapons are no older than S20 defiance. world drops are still 62% armour (based on 480 samples i've recorded), but for the remaining 38% you get one of 20 current weapons from season of defiance or newer. overall i think it's a good change.

My auto of choice this season is solar 600 rpm coronach with zen moment and incandescent. High cal for pvp for flinch and armor piercing for pve to eat through all shields. It’s great on its own but the solar perks from the artifact makes it insane. Needs range masterwork and it’s like sunshots long haired cousin with all the explosions even with body kills.

This has been great for barrier champs with volatile rounds & overloads with the artifact mod. Repulsor brace/onslaught with void hunter and gry chest piece is cracked - been using on my solo dungeon runs

Not many are talking about this specific perk combo, rewind and deconstruct. With it I can literally vomit ammo for obscene durations of time just by landing hit on a target. Deconstruct give a bonus to contructs, but the ammo returned doesn’t care what you hit.

I love this weapon, Gyrfalcons Hunter with rat king, Ros Argo with repulsor brace onslaught, and a void MG is crazy, so much fun. Drives people nuts in normal content because always invis so enemies ignore you, and you shred everything with volatile It’s really good in master lost sectors too, but I’d run Polaris lance because it’s like cheating 😂

I saw this thing immediately on release, as a 600rpm auto lover. I've been trying to get it all season. I've only gotten two rolls. One, a 4/5 godroll, missing onslaught (with SURROUNDED in its place), meaning that its a phenomenal roll - but will not replace my gnawing hunger. And the other, a bad roll that was better to just dismantle. This thing feels great. This thing looks great. It has great perks. Its a great auto. But I just haven't been able to get the thing. If only i could farm the NEW world loot pool weapons, bungie. I still wish I could get Gnawing Hunger with new perks and the reckoning origin perk, though. I have a godroll on the old one already, letting me focus it at the drifter doesn't help, bungie! I want the origin perk and some new options on the gun. That reckoning origin perk is great. And yeah, my zen / kill clip roll with great stats is amazing, but there's some new perks i would love to see on it - and honestly, i was kinda hoping to see onslaught on it too. I like onslaught/desperado even when they're not the best option, they're fun. And, y'know, i still kinda want a 600rpm auto i like as much as gnawing hunger that isn't void. Perpetualis is close but still not quite. And, uh, Ros Arago is void. edit: And my 4/5 ros arago is hammer-forged, accurized, range MW, dynamic sway reduction, surrounded. Yeah. That perfect, yet so far off the mark lacking onslaught. I have a 5/5 gnawing hunger. I grinded season of arrivals. The ros arago roll that i got is so good but it doesn't bring me something new or better, even though the gun absolutely can. edit2: Oh. and I love the taken aesthetic. Bungie could've given me a taken variant of my favorite gun in the game, gnawing hunger. And even made it my favorite subclass element, stasis. If they make that a thing and make it a 600 auto still I'd be so happy. I'd even settle for 720. But i dont think they're going to now, at least a refreshed gnawing hunger is possible. edit3: and, I for one am chasing this thing for pvp. but thats just because I love these guns in pvp.

One of my first drops of this weapon was Repulser Brace/Onslaught and I absolutely love it. To get my friends to pay attention to what perks drop on theirs I told them it's Gnawing Hunger but just better and THAT got their attention. If this season wasn't so solar focused, I would be playing with this thing so much more, especially on Gyrfalcon's hunter and any grenade heavy voidlock build. Absolutely a 5/5 weapon.

So- I’ve been rocking my hollow denial because of repulser and lead from gold but since bungie changed the economy of special ammo I was languishing for a good void weapon. I LOVE these new world drop weapons. This auto (i have repulsed onslaught ) and also the pulse Psi Hermatic are really fun. Excited to get one when they drop and not one god roll, but several on each gun. With fairly small perk pools, it’s fairly easy to get a good roll, which makes it even more exciting when you get a drop The rocket launcher, crux termination, is also cool.

Rewind Rounds is actually bad with Onslaught. What happens is after it loads rounds in, theres a short cooldown where any hits won't count towards the perk. Normally this isnt a big deal, only 5-10 rounds and you have the rest of the mag to get hits with. But with Onslaught you're shooting way more bullets in that short cooldown window, leaving you with less or even no bullets to get hits with. If your using rewind rounds, it would be much better to pair it with attrition orbs or deconstruct.

I'm gonna offer a counterpoint to why tricorn is also fantastic for this weapon. Perma/tricorn is the roll I have and the ability to stay at tricorn x2 is very easy. Get kill, throw grenade and especially void warlocks with chaos Vortex nades, you essentially stay at tricorn x2 as long as long as you want.

today i just got permabuility onsalught to drop, and wow it is fantastic, up there with abyss defiant and age old bond, and sweet sorrow as my favorite autos. honestly may use this over abyss on some builds where i do need heal clip or incadecent. Actually, my favorite use so far with this roll is on stasis with icefall mantal. use class, get a massive over shield, and turn this into stasis, and just walk at enemies mowing them all down without any worries. feels fantastic. now I just need a pacific epitaph with redirection and I got the perfect icefall mantle build...

Feel? For a new category? There are hundreds of weapons that have great stats, but then there are the ones that, even though their stats may not necessarily compete head to head with those weapons having the "meta" stats, they've been noted over and over for their standout "feel". Kept Confidence comes to mind, as a recent example. Not sure I've seen a content creator add this into the mix of traits they review on a weapon other than as part of commentary. Also, love the content CG. Hope 5hit starts to look up for you, man. Even if I quite this game, I'd still watch you and Cammy all day long.

Your review was flawless. I was scared you were gonna give it too high of praise in pvp because when onslaught is ramped up, it can be very fun but very situational. As a super fan of my AMMIT with enhanced DS/Tap , I found myself with this Ros losing gun fights that I’m 100% sure I would have won with my AMMIT. I found myself even with onslaught up being at weak health for the 2nd or 3rd gun fight & getting clapped on a non void repulsor brace subclass. I haven’t tried it in PVE yet but I’m gonna jump on invis hunter & see what’s up.

Deconstruct spawns ammo in the mag on continued damage, so if you pair that with rewind you can lay on the trigger for a really really long time. Probably not as good as onslaught but it's fun with volatile.

The first one I had drop was Attrition/Subsistence and was cooking in that Witch Queen Nightfall. Since then, I have had a few more drop and actually kinda like the Under_over/Subsistence one I got. Extra damage against shielded seems to help a little. I do have an Onslaught/Subsistence, but it is new and i really haven't used it yet. If Auto's were dealing with Champions this season, people would be grinding for this weapon.

I have a Rewind/Onslaught roll and Subsistence/Onslaught. I greatly prefer Rewind. It’s better in an all around content type way. Good in low end, maybe not AS good as sub in low end, but it’s for sure much much better in mid and high end content when things don’t die as fast. I’d recommended that as a primary chase

The first and only drop I got for this gun, so far, is permeability/onslaught. Didn't even know the gun existed until then. Also thought permeability was a wasted slot until watching this video and getting the wake up call.

I've got one with rewind rounds, onslaught, and wild card, which is a reload perk a damage perk and an AOE damage perk which makes it basically a perfect primary

Onslaught itself is also a reload perk as each stack increases reload speed
