Drinking all the time, sleeping around when he was drunk, his sister used to fix him up with women and his mother encouraged it. They did not want him with me. I am an addictions counselor and was helping him but they wanted him like them. Toxic, dysfunctional, narcissistic and everything in between. Father has been locked away for almost 30 years and stills rules his life. He can't get them away from him. He moved out of town when he left my home and months later they gave up their homes and went to where he was and the same life started again. The drinking, sleeping around, gambling, etc. i told him I will be here if you need me but I will not accept them in our lives. All his friends are toxic and can't help him find a better life. He is enmeshed in toxic behavour with them and they won't let him leave. When he was with me his mother was at my door all the time or hanging over my fence even though she lived in another town far from us. That would cause problems between us and he ran to her for weeks, months and then when he had problems with her he ran back. His father made him leave my home and move to a remote town where he was depressed and drank alot and cut and burnt himself with cigarettes. We are still apart because he could not leave them and I wont go through that behavour again.
