For that first animation: the ancient greeks had a tale similar to it. The tale of narcissus, who many believe the term "narcissism" comes from. He was so infatuated with his own reflection that he died of thirst and starvation simply just to continue to stare at his reflection in a pond. He was then punished in hades realm of the underworld for eternity, although I don't remember how so. It's always ironic in ancient Greek tales, so probably either never being able to cast a reflection again, or being made not to like it but still have to stare for eternity or something🤷‍♂️ either way: that mirror surely must be an artifact that can emulate that tale in whoever looks into it! I see that inspiration guys😏

Hey Cory :), this is my interpretation of Ice Trays: Oki so my theory is that this is about self harm. I think the mom finding the ice cubes in the fridge signifies a mother seeing a glimpse of her child’s scars, or seeing some other thing that might lead the mom to think her daughter is self harming. The mom going to the daughter’s room and shaking the ice tray in front of her might symbolize the mom asking if her daughter is self harming. The daughter gets scared and says no and the mom goes back down stares. I think the mom licking the ice cubes might mean she started self harming too. Since the mom licks the ice cube almost like an addict it leads me to believe she got addicted to self harming too. As a person who dealt with self harm, when my parents found out I was self harming they didn’t understand why I would do that. My dad self harmed once after he found out in hopes of trying to understand why I self harmed. I think the mom did something similar except she got addicted too. The old man might symbolize the want to self harm. Every time you self harm he gets so happy and drinks it all up. Maybe the fact that the man is old means she’s been self harming for a while. The fact that the mom and daughter posted they’re wounds on the internet might mean it’s almost like they’re bragging about it? Maybe they’re guilt tripping people and saying stuff like “we go through more than you do so you can’t complain” Or ya know it might just be a weird video and I’m looking too much into it 😅
