The doctor told the jailers not to chain her legs, for some reason. The question is, why didn’t they just tell the doctor “that’s not the way we do things.”

That wasn't APD who were escorting her, but I'm sure they appreciate your vote of confidence, or lack of same. They did do a good job of tracking her down, but they suspected her pretty soon after the murder. Didn't arrest her right away, but that was her Anglo girl privilege showing. Now folks realize she's just another wacko killer....allegedly!
