Usually it’s only if your comfortable. I’ve had a lot of roles that required kissing, and I was usually okay with it. But a lot of people I know who have roles like these usually make it a fake kiss if they ask the director.

Aaaah that’s so exciting! I would recommend listening to the soundtrack and seeing which character you think you could portray and then singing an audition song that is not only in the style of the show, but also is a song that you could see that character singing. Break a leg!
