Finally beaten Lissandra with Heimer and the run was magical. Bout security, the single card that made rotation happen + hextech protobelt + -1cost item + all cards cost 2 less power. There is no sweeter feeling than bullying Lissandra with an infinite combo. And it had a tech item on the top, to roll formidable and nothing else.

I just faced this deck in pvp ffs. Unfortunately for them I was playing an 8 mana yeti printer deck. They made me draw a lot, so at first I just let the Yeti''s print themselves. Then they started vengancing so I started printing evil k and mystic shot. Eventually I printed parallel convergence once, and after carefully wasting their vengances on like 13 evil ks with two left, i attacked 3 times in on turn for an otk. Im staying away from PvP while this deck is a thing T-T

This reminds me of a deck I built in Yugioh Master Duel that had like five or six different ways to guarantee that I get my combo pieces in order to summon a unit called Crooked Cook in a way that made it immune to card effects and immune to damage, meaning it was only gonna get beaten by them replacing my unit with a Kaiju or them having pierce damage. Anyway, once summoned I'd just wait until I won... By drawing Exodia... That was the wincon, drawing five different cards. It typically would take 60 turns since I couldn't use any cards to draw since Crooked Cook would then become vulnerable but yeah, a slow burn like this. Also not very good, haha

The original IP comment about CCGs, they can be successful without being backed by a large IP, but that requires interesting enough game mechanics to attract people. Magic has it's own IP that stretches back to the Urza's block of expansion sets, but no one cares because the game mechanics are interesting. Edit: Just read Lazarus' comment in your stream, and MtG is a separate IP from D&D, since Hasbro bought WotC first, then bought D&D through WotC (and their accompanying IP at the same time).

this deck does not offer as much control as you'd think. these three matches are just lucky matchups. This deck is countered by all puffcap aggro decks, all recall+sand soldier decks, and all deathless or encroaching mist decks, so basically by 65 percent of the meta.

pretty sure this deck is hunting elder dragon decks. You either remove the expensive finishers or you play ruination as answer to their full board. And with the defensive heal spells you dont lose to many games against aggro, which also try to take advantage of ED. If you play smth else than ED or aggro you should be fine

I think it's a skill issue. I myself played it and I won almost all the games. Make sure you understand the deck correctly and the deck of your opponent's.
