Sometimes the best thing we can do is choose ourselves, especially as women. We get so caught up in worrying about others 24/7, and neglecting ourselves. I know its feels weird (and even selfish), to center ourselves, but we need to do it. It's not that someone can't come into our lives one day. It's just better for us if we make ourselves our own soulmates first, whether someone shows up or not. Build up our own self esteem, work on our own goals, etc. Love at first sight seems rare to me. I tnink it's more lust at first sight for many instead. We gotta get past the "lust brain" stage to see if two folks have anything else in common. Otherwise, it won't last.

I have been drawn to myself lately. I do things that make me feel good, such as (wait for it) crawling around on my hands and knees to take out weeds in my garden. It feels like regaining my childhood. Ever since I've gotten this feeling that I'm a little more focussed on myself, no reading suits me anymore.
