If you want to incorporate both the "Worst Ball Challenge" and the "Tee Flip Challenge" into a single 4-person challenge with a 50/50 outcome, you can have everyone tee off, but only include the worst and best drives in the Tee Flip.

It's tee flip challenge tho
@iamconnorwoods Жыл бұрын
@@chrisbelanger6467 Well yeah but usually it's just two people so flipping makes sense since it's a 50/50 or just North/South. Now there's 4 of them going N/W/E/S so him flipping it vertically is really making the odds higher for two of the guys (himself and whoevers across from him). SO when he made that hole out, his way of flipping it increased his odds from 25% to 50% (in theory, yes it can bounce weird). Obviously he wasn't intentionally playing the system but look at the other group and they spun the tee every time giving everyone a more equal chance to be landed on

New challenge idea for you guys. Team “A” doesn’t see team “B”s tee shots, once all of B has made their shot, someone on team A picks someone on team B and they have to take their shot. OR everyone on the same team has to look away during their teammates tee shot so they don’t know how it was, then after all 4 have shot they flip a tee and the person it lands on has to choose which shot they take (but they only know how their own shot was). Obviously no communicating between teammates during this
@anthonykneipiii4562 Жыл бұрын
I like the second half of this idea, after the capitalized “OR.” I feel like this makes the flip even more dramatic because the team actually doesn’t have a clue until they get to the next shot. That might make Collin have to watch where each ball goes a little more, but i think the outcome is worth it.

For more than 2 people, definitely
@chosen1one930 Жыл бұрын
It's a tee flip, spinning a wheel is a waste of time especially when playing with 6 people or more in one group, gotta keep pace of play. If this was a money match like $500 and over sure but not for a simple challenge. They could also stand closer when flipping the tee so the gaps aren't as big to say it's in the middle. Or do the a spin app on their phones, each team would be spinning for the other team to take any odds out of it. That shouldn't be to bad on pace of play
@chosen1one930 Жыл бұрын
I will say this, the tee flip has so many unknowns on the bounces, or getting caught in the grass, spinning as nothing like that and takes that love, hate and luck out of the tee flip.

There should be a “Hole Out Nullifier” in every Tee Flip Challenge. If someone holes out the tee flip should be nullified and that shot is automatically chosen. Maybe set the nullifier distance to a 50 yard shot minimum to count. Amazing shots like that should be rewarded in these challenges and be immune from the fate of the flip!
@PawPawGreg Жыл бұрын
Yes and no, imo. Great shots should be rewarded, but if you just remove the fun of having to flip, what is the point of doing the challenge? You can't undo the hole-out, it just may not matter for the competition. I'm on the fence about it.

I am going to help you guys out with some geometry and probability hints. And congrats to Bubbie on that amazing hole out!
@marudebaka6041 Жыл бұрын
Great video. I have an idea for a new challenge, a no-flag challenge. In this challenge, you do 3 v 3 or 4 v 4, preferably on a course with large greens, and you have one of the cameramen remove all the flags before you tee off, so that nlnemlf the players has any idea of where the hole is on any green. Then, just play a regular scramble and see what happens. To make it really hard you could force the team to choose which approach shlt they want before they get to the green. Or, allow them to go up there and find out what the situation is. Might lead to some interesting strategies, especially if you had 4-man teams.
