Christ, i'm worried about the storage space, I bulk cook most of the time. It doesn't look like theres much space to store ingredients or meals. Also were things like bedding provided? Pots? Pans? Plates and utensils?
@monkaeyes Жыл бұрын
although there is the fridge in the room i suppose. But still, I might need to bring a tub or something to haul my ingredients downstairs. Do still need to know if there is access to cutlery and stuff though. I really dont want to have to fly that stuff around the world or buy any over there just to have to dispose of it at the end of the year.

I wanna ask if we could bring in kettles in our room(as I’m moving into usyd accom next month), as it may activate the smoke alarm, so yeah

Is the accommodation strict on non-residents staying over? Do they have to sign in prior to arrival? Great video and the downstairs area looks very cool, hadn't seen pictures of this elsewhere!
@sebvdree3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yeah there is a log book at reception for guests, and you need a card to get through the door, but they generally allow you to have guests over. This was pre-corona, but it seems Australia is over that by now (very jealous...) so should be the same!

Hey! Do you know if there's any possibility to stay in a different halls for my 2nd term studying abroad (January-May)? It sounds amazing for the social life but it's really expensive and don't know if I could potentially save money that way!
@sebvdree2 жыл бұрын
Hey! Yes I think so, at least when I went to Sydney the contract was only for one term so I did my first semester (August to November) in QMB and another hall in my second semester (February to June) and just travelled / couch-surfed in between :)
