After finishing up with their new find, the team decides that some attention needs to given to other parts of the hidden room under the stairs that aren't necessarily the Apple II. While searching through the remaining drawers in the desk, they come across some folders with evidence in it that not only doesn't make sense but fills the room with an overwhelming amount of dread. What they find changes the game not just for their investigation, but for them as individuals as well.

The "Life's Blood" is found and carefully examined by the team. They also discuss what they should do with it and how it could be different from the original serum they found.

The team resolves to head back to the room under the stairs and continue to go through it, hopeful and anxious for whatever other discoveries they'll make.

As a very surface-level search, they look through all of the things sitting on shelves first, which includes the thermos and samples.

Matthias starts on the desk again, going through one of the unopened drawers to check and see what's hiding inside.
13:14 - Testing The Floppies -
After finding a ton of floppy disks in the drawer, it's time to test and see what's on them and if it relates to anything about Syntec.
17:14 - E.A Sports, It's In The Game! -
A nice little break in the tension is finding and running an old video games. And then it's back to looking through all the old floppies.
21:54 - Files And Files And Files -
Now comes the spooky stuff: the team finds a drawer of files, all that seem to be filled with experiment trial papers that leave a rather morbid impression of the trials that Syntec was doing.
28:42 - You Applied There? -
A rather odd college rejection letter pops up, one that doesn't seem to sit right with the team, along with a list of familiar patients...
30:19 - Downsizing -
This specific letter seems to hit a little too close to home for Matthias....
33:00 - The Worst By Far -
The final folder seems to be all about Samantha and her journey to LA, but the last form that it has just seems to turn everything on its head.

I figured out how they can SEE the REDACTED INFORMATION. They need to use nail polish remover, sticker remover, or turpentine on the sharpie marks. A few drops on a cotton swab should do the trick. Hope this helps you guys. Edit: I do not have reddit. So if any of you have it. Could you possibly post it on the reddit page? Also you guys in the replies are super smart. Nice job testing this 2nd edit: also it will depend on what type of pen/ink was used on the document. Because you don't want the writing on the document to bleed

Plus, if they were actually in any danger, they wouldn't be just calling the police from their studio. They would be going to the police station. @@anshkhandelwal574 i don’t care if it’s a 8 year old or a 100 year old, they’re gonna report anything and everything to the police. matt hasn’t reported anything. until he shows me video evidence of him going to the police station like he said he would, it’s scripted. he made the biggest deal about how the case was spoofing their calls. they unplugged the case, and his first reaction was to tell cj to follow around woods looking for a fire extinguisher? and then call the sheriffs department off camera? wasn’t the whole purpose of the video was proving the fact that they could call the department? then they don’t show the actual call? cmon just think logically. i don’t care if they’ve got a “burden” on their head, it’s not going to weigh them down enough to forget everything they learned growing up. that’s just one of the many slip ups/holes that have made themselves apparent. i love the series and have been a fan since 2015 but it’s obviously scripted.

I think that the reason that they have so much info on them and why they say that they were “chosen” is because in the video where they searched the car they found a paper detailing that you can control people without them realizing that they are being controlled, that’s what I think happened to Woods, Sam, and Matt. They were basically chosen to return to the lab, quite possibly by “D” himself for whatever reason.

I know I’m late but about the desk. My teacher had a VERY old desk in the office attached to my schools auditorium and she uses it to hold some sewing stuff, tools, and tape for the crew workers for the musicals so we don’t have to search around. On the Under side of the desk there is a lever you can pull, the very bottom drawer on the left side is locked in place unless you pull the lever. There is a false bottom and you can’t see what’s inside the drawer unless you open it correctly. Plz check!!!
