Not shown on video is the beginning of the game that starts out with the exact super Mario bros brick and coin box pattern. Then after that, the game changes dramatically.

Unfortunately it seems like playing on original hardware is out of the question. I tried loading this up on an RGB-modded FamicomAV with an Everdrive N8 and it kicks back an error. It's not surprising given that this uses more RAM than the original console had (I was hoping the Everdrive might have been able to compensate but sadly it does not). EDIT: Turns out I was wrong and there was a separate issue causing the error message. Thanks to the Dev for clarifying. Leaving the original message for context.

Hi, one of the devs here. It indeed works on real hardware, it's just that the header is not correct. There's a fix for it now though

Celeste and its variants are the most fun games where you die 150 times in one hour and yet enjoy the whole time. I tried out this game recently and loved the amount of complexity it has, especially for a short timeframe in production. EDIT: That room at 15:00 bugged me for a while. Not because of that one hidden moon, but because I couldn't figure out how to explore the upper-left corner of that room. It bugged me that it didn't fill in on my map, but I couldn't get to the left of one of the thwomps to get a boost jump to the left.
