@HeavyontheRide They play the open A string (tuned to a G) all the time. It's almost impossible to play it using standard tuning. Tuning it this way is quite easy. You tune your A string down two steps to a G. It should sound like the third fret of your low E string. In regular tuning your A string sounds like the fifth fret of you low E string. When you tune it like that, you can play the A string open. That makes the main riff way easier to play.

Good stuff man, I used to know it all in standard tuning and it was awkward to play what tuning are you in? I've heard this is in open G but not sure exactly how it works haha found the vid off the rek rek forums btw :) I'm Regular Jordan
