Somers FD Car 2441 (Using Utility 182) + Engine 183 + Ladder 48 + Rescue 20 + Engine 188 Responding

Somers Fire Department Car 2441 (using Utility 182), Engine 183, Ladder 48, Rescue 20, and Engine 188 responding to a reported fire in the wall on Lake Way in Somers, New York. Car 2442 and Tanker 16 from the Somers Fire Department also responded to this call, but are not seen in this video. Tanker 16 responded non-emergency and was cancelled prior to arrival. Car 2442 arrived on scene and reported there was a small fire in the boiler room that had been extinguished and units were checking for extension. Command later updated that there was negative extension and placed the situation under control. Shortly after, all Somers units went back into service.
The units seen responding are:
Utility 182 - 2011 Chevrolet Suburban
Engine 183 - 2010 Sutphen Monarch (1500GPM/1000GWT)
Ladder 48 - 2009 Sutphen Monarch (1500GPM/500GWT/75FT MM)
Rescue 20 - 2005 Spartan Gladiator/Rescue 1
Engine 188 - 2014 Seagrave Marauder II (1500GPM/2000GWT/30GFT)

@@LIVINGSTONHOSE No it's basic common sense which you obviously are lacking. The videos and person posting them are great, the drivers/officers in those Trucks need to learn proper usage. Don't need to be a Siren expert as you put it, just need common sense. When you get it along with your other name calling friend then come talk to me.

Greg W. Why do care so much about there siren usage. If my house was on fire I would want the fire trucks screaming down the road blasting everything siren they got to get to my house quicker. Just enjoy the video and posting negative comments

A lot of people have different levels of hearing loss and can not hear a Q "Screaming" It was designed to overcome that obstacle as well as blasting radios with different types of music playing. That's why normal sirens do not have a "Screaming" tone. maybe learn more about firefighting then putting wet stuff on red stuff and you would see why things are made and used.

大将くん if you mean fire department, they have many things!! Interior Firefighter which is where you go inside a burning building, exterior which means you fight it from the outside, and EMS only which means you go to EMS Calls, as well as fire police. Depending on department maybe womens auxiliary.
