Wow they are fabulous. Whe I first started quilting many years ago, my teacher told me the Amish believe that only Gid can make things perfect. So if I make a mistake I just consider myself a tiny bit Amish. They deliberately put a mistake in everything they do. Your quilt tops look great.🐾😀🐾

Fantastic job, Rebecca! When I was learning to quilt, Jenny Doan at Missouri Star on KZbin was my "teacher". She has a unique way of piecing with pre-cut standardized sizes of quilting fabric. Her method saves you from having to cut each little 2" triangle for example. (It's easier to watch her videos than for me to try to explain it.) I'm not dabbling in quilting now, but it was a lot of fun. Glad you're able to set aside perfectionism, I know that's hard. As someone told me, consider any "mistakes" your signature on your work of art! 😊👏👏👏❤❤❤

Don't worry about being perfect most people don't notice the imperfections. I have been a quilter for the last 9 years.

These are both gorgeous😍 I can't believe how much you have done😯. The best I've achieved yet is a patchwork cushion cover in hexagons which I did a couple of years ago by hand (even though I bought a new digital sewing machine 🤦♀) Looking at yours makes me want to go back to patchwork and learn quilting, I just have to catch up a bit on all my DP's, X stitch, crochet etc first 😁

They make quilt backing that’s 108” wide. Makes it a lot easier than piecing your back together

Choose a fabric from the top, I put my first one on a large hoop to quilt it, it was a 9 block hand pieced lap quilt
