After 2 different probations, and attempted break-in when the last ended, the stalker received a 6 month jail sentence. The police were happy to let his harassment go but I had facts and had to be my own protector. Can't imagine having to count on law enforcement when it's someone as powerful as Diddy. The thing that happened months before the raid and spurred the rolling stone exposé was the Cassie lawsuit in 2023. Diddy settled the day after she filed her lawsuit but prior to that, Cassie’s lawyers and Diddy’s lawyers were in talks for at least a couple months discussing her request for a $30M settlement with the agreement that she would not go public about the allegations or settlement amount. The only reason we all even know about the Cassie situation is because Diddy said “no, I’m not paying you a dime” so she filed and the backlash was so bad he settled within a day and she agreed to the prior stipulations that she would not discuss details. (However that agreement would be null if she is subpoenaed.) And we just assume he gave her $30M, because that’s what was listed in the lawsuit. We only know about what he did to her because of the lawsuit she filed, which the whole world has now read. He could’ve avoided all of this fallout and these piggy back lawsuits by just settling with her in 2023. What an absolute idiot.
