I think the important thing is to be mentally prepared. We can prep physically all we want, but are we mentally and spiritually prepared. That's the key factor. Whatever is coming is coming. It's not going to be easy, stay strong.

Ok, last pro tip, you said you like fishing, when you clean the fish, take the remains from cleaning the fish and bury in your garden soil during the off growing season, for me here in Pa, I would bury it in my garden in september-until the ground freezes, and let it decompose until I plant in the spring, makes a great soil amendment.

I have had premonition dreams my whole life. I had one the other night that I think was a warning and in it there was a bear running down a street on a hill through town. Two man tried to capture the bear. They let their guard down for a minute thinking it was friendly, and the bear turned on them crushed the head of one and slashed the other. I hope it it means something else, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Russia crushes the head of something in the coming weeks or months.

I am sorry to say that the worst that can happen is not having too much food, its spending all your time and money prepping and then when the proverbial hits the wall the police come around and use "hoarding" laws to steal your food to give to others and you are left with nothing. One part of prepping is making sure your food is hidden not just stored.

I have a widow whose children don’t take much interest in her life. My children are grown and live independently (debt free, no student loans) of me. I make sure she has everything she needs. She cannot reciprocate and I would not to accept her to. Knowing she has what she needs eases my heart. I’m glad you are a Christian. G-d ALWAYS have our back. G-d Bless.

I am over 70 and live alone. I maintain a pantry of non-perishable goods, and can live frugally in a small southern town. I do my banking locally and do not own stocks. I maintain good relationships with family and neighbors. I could get by for a short term emergency, but I don’t know about a complete collapse. At some point we have to put our affairs in God’s hands.

Have 1 of those electrical guys put in a kill switch on your solar panel. This way, if the grid goes down, you throw that switch & you have power. Just make sure you have batteries to store that power. Dehydrate your extra food. Learn about herbs & how they work. You can get free wood from tree services. When they cut a tree down, they have to pay to dump it, so it's free to give it to you.

I live in a very small apartment and I am stockpiling and prepping for emergencies. Food ,water, water containers, water purification & filtering items, batteries, chargers, solar panels, blankets, otc medications, first aid, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, etc. We are going to make beef jerky soon as well.

Spiritually we are prepared as well and there is no fear here. It won't be pretty for a few years but it will be absolutely beautiful afterwards I believe. To the crowd here, please listen to her. Instead of mint for toothpaste, store baking soda. Use peroxide for whitening and bad mouth bacteria. Learn canning. Canning the foraged berries, fruits, and vegetables for enjoyment all year long. Not just seasonal. In addition to the prepping idea, canned food lasts years. No preservatives needed. Just airtight in jars.
