As always, outstanding and that voice. Even in the darkest songs,,Joby Talbot’s arrangements are like a warm luxurious bath: “Good life” is a classic example. Right up there with Sir Paul and the Great American Songbook. Neil is beyond explanation.

Neil has the most amazing different voice..different to anyone else i have ever heard..so unique..and there songs are quirky and different..amazing..he is a one off...there is nobody like him anywhere on this planet..he is like a karen carpenter..there will never be anyone like him again..a legend really..and a unique voice..and a clever mind..a very talented individual..

I was 13 then and I’m still a fan today. Love Neil. I was the only child in my class (and possibly school) who liked The Divine Comedy, but I didn’t care. ☺️

I saw The Divine Comedy at the Ross on Wye festival in 1998. They were fantastic live.
