Naegi: Him becoming the Ultimate Hope was so cool Kirigiri: She’s the second-smartest character in the series Togami: Pretty solid character development in chapter 4 Asahina: Pretty solid character development in chapter 4 Hagakure: He can be funny sometimes Fukawa: Amazing character development in UDG (from what I’ve heard) Genocide Jill: A wicked fun character Enoshima: A crazy cool and complex yet simple character Ikusaba: Danganronpa IF Maizono: She’s one of the most realistic characters Kuwata: His execution is cold and terrifying Fujisaki: He’s so sweet and is indirectly the reason everyone was saved Owada: One of the most honorable killers and the only one who actually wishes they could undo what they did (many killers regret murder but never explicitly say they wish they could undo their mistakes) Ishimaru: The only character with genuinely realistic reactions to the killing game. Everyone else acts like nothing ever happened Yamada: He’s pretty helpful during the trials Celestia: She’s such a complex character and everything about her (even her crappy murder plan) makes sense in retrospect Ogami: The most noble character in the series and actually stopped the murders in THH Hinata: He has his moments of being sassy Kamakura: His connection to Nanami is cute ig Kuzuryu: His character development is solid Owari: Her connection to Nidai is cool Soda: He’s much more likable and cool in FTEs Sonia: She’s pretty funny sometimes Nanami: She has a cute design Komaeda: One of the most complex characters in the series Impostor: He tried to help everyone Hanamura: His love for his mother Koizumi: She tried to make things right in chapter 2 Pekoyama: She has a sad execution Mioda: She’s so fun and cool Saionji: She tried to be a better person Tsumiki: She’s such an interesting character until it’s revealed that everyone was brainwashed into being Ultimate Despair, so her personality in chapter 3 wasn’t that special Nidai: He sacrificed himself twice Tanaka: He has such a fun and unique personality Akamatsu: She’s so different from the other protagonists, mainly the fact that she actually takes action to end the killing game, even murder Saihara: He has some pretty solid character development and it’s nice to play as a protagonist who doesn’t need everyone else giving him hints Harukawa: She has pretty solid character development Yumeno: She has pretty solid character development and DID deserve to survive Shirogane: Her cosplays were cool K1-B0: He became relevant in chapter 6 Amami: His love for his sisters is cool Hoshi: His backstory is cool Tojo: Her execution is cool Angie: She’s such an interesting morally gray character Chabashira: She puts her disdain of men aside in the end Shinguji: He has a cool design ig Iruma: She can be really funny and iconic Gokuhara: He actually committed murder Oma: The most complex character in this game Momota: I love his hero schtick Monokuma: He’s the face of Danganronpa Usami/Monomi: She’s so sweet The Monokubs: All of them are dead
