Seen this before in countless movies - The Reef, The Shallows, Open Water. CGI sharks seem to perform feats of acrobatics taking you straight out of the film. Wonderfully diverse though. All boxes ticked. Pfffff This is what happens when a man isn't around.

..weird..sharks barely attack people every year yet get so many movies..more people killed by domestic dogs lol..crocs should get more.they actually have about a 1000 people a year as a staple diet

Locals in any area that have the main culprits of attacks (GW's Tigers and Bulls) all say that the numbers are suppressed in order to keep tourism alive. It even happened in the Trinidad recent attack where the guide said the waters were fine and the locals said there have been plenty of attacks and they're just never recorded. The operators of the tourist areas are literally like the mayor from Jaws. Egypt's numbers are multiple fold higher than what they report. So using stats are inaccurate. Even croc stats; there are so many locals in villages who's numbers are never recorded. Domestic dogs would, by far be the most accurate out of the 3 you listed. But to state why so many shark movies get made as opposed to others, Jaws. It made people sh** scared of the ocean and the follow up croc movies were mostly done poorly. Several good killer dog movies have been done but sharks make more of a headline so people are more accustomed to being scared of them. I for one fear polar bears more than any other large animal simply because they're eating you in small bits while you're still alive. A croc will normally drown you and a shark will normally let you bleed out first. But a killer polar bear movie wouldn't be as scary for most people.
