And I think the lyrics are off because yes phonetically-to help people pronounce it better or it could be because people here didn't really know much about spanish back then so they typed it by mistake, not sure though. There is a updated video with lyrics that came out 2 years ago, that has correct lyrics.

Im learning Spanish from an app for past year and yes it's easy for Hindi speaking people because of the similar phonetics. Always wanted to learn because of Latin American music - so lively and melodious. Feel the freedom in music and dance.

The subtitles were not there on the video originally..somone must've added them later with phonetic spellings they thought they heard her sing and without any helpe from a Spanish speaker. Otherwise we learn Spanish, french, Korean and Japanese in schools here as subjects too so plenty of Spanish speakers in Tier 1 cities like Delhi and Mumbai.
