Idk how I missed this video. I watched the one with you and Lillie go on the cruise lol. That's awesome the Addie learned how to fully swim. I'm so very sorry for your lose I hope you all are doing ok. 🙏💕 I lost both my grandma's when I was around 10 and I'm 35 now and both 11 months apart that was hard. I still miss them so so much but I am very happy I have some memories with them so I do get to share them with my kids. I getting super teary eyed thinking of it right now. Keep your grandma's memories alive by sharing all the stories you have with your kids. It helps keep the joy of her in your hearts and your home.

Hey Jesss, I just wanted to say that Addie is such a good swimmer, but I would buy her a pair of goggles without the nose part because it can be dangerous since you can not breathe in or out through your nose and it can even cause you to drown. I myself have tried both and it feels much better and safer without the nose part.

You'll come visit Kira and we will cross paths eventually LOL.. or next time I go to Disneyland xD - Glad your travels were safe and sound :) Also - I live next to a very dry grass brush field as well (also cannot get built on / it's a watershed or something, so similar situation) - and we have farm animals around here as it's legal in this city (didn't realize it wasn't legal everywhere) and they just let the local horses and livestock roam a temporarily fenced area to help prevent further overgrowth and/or fires and what not. in the Netherlands they are using sheep to naturaly cut the grass. they move the sheep in sections over a certain area that has a lot of weeds :D

Hi Jess I live in Roseville and it is very common in this area for the goats to be in the open spaces. The same herd travels thru out the city going from open space to open space eating the grass. Elk Grove has a similar program.

Goats and sheep are a good natural way to clear weeds, brambles and underbrush. They can eat almost any weed, including thorns and poison ivy, down to the roots so they don’t come back. My parents live on a large property with lots of woods, and they had goats to eat the weeds and actually expand the lawn.

Studies out of Australia show they decrease swimming ability up to 70%. Im glad to hear your family had pleasant experiences with them. I know some have become safer by not binding feet. I've lived in San Diego for the past 7 years. My first year here I was so confused driving home from work one day when all of a sudden there were a bunch of goats on this hill in the middle of the city. They were there for about a week and then gone. A temporary fence was set up to keep them on the hill. When they got there the hill was covered in tall grass and it was all short when they left. Then about every year since then they come back to eat the grass. I didn't know it was a thing other places too. Lol
