Wow, I'm so glad you were able to get away and kept a sharp mind during the whole ordeal. I enjoy going on walks/jogs at the park too since it's more peaceful and the scenery is better than at the gym. One of my biggest fears has always been this. Thanks for sharing your story.

She made the smart move of running off the trail. It saved her. I’m a woman and I know where I live is not the safest place nor people. Abductions can happen in a blink of an eye. Because of this, I’ve begun to check what time is best to go out, days which I feel have busier business, and I don’t carry a purse ever. Also I refuse to wear anything that makes me appear as a woman; I happen to be quite short and petite. I’d be an easy target and so I learned to hide it. I’ve been traumatized before the same as this Hmong lady, and I’m thankful I too got away. But my mind is scarred by the terror of it. Trust your gut when you feel something is wrong. Now I teach young girls how to protect themselves

I’ve always wanted to hike and walk alone but you never know whose there waiting to hurt you or plan something sinister or if your the only one, always bring a pepper spray!! 😮😊❤😅😂🎉 I went to this one church & I had my now 10 Yr old now and he was 3 yrs old & this is one guy had a plan and he had a sunglasses and a hat and he probably was thinking of something!!

I used to go running/jogging by myself and then with my daughter after Ive given birth but now, my husband forbids me to go and he will not allowed for me to take my 4 year old... unless he goes with me. He even purchased a bear mase for me but he still doesn't allowed me to go anymore... I'm glad you are okay. It is a scary world we live in. There are human traffickers, organ traffickers, murderers, rapists , etc... we must always be careful.
