Ep. 30: Something Weird, Just A Thought…. Some time ago, Derek (aka D Bourgie86) sent me this book with the hopes I’d both read it and review it. That, unfortunately was eons ago but thankfully here we are.. Ya know, not having read a King book in like 41 years (Pet Semetary) is a lot like bumping into a teenage romance (41 years later) and rediscovering all the reasons for what made that girl so special all those years ago, lol.. Thanks for sending it buddy!! Hopefully I’ll do it some justice 🍻

What a mighty bound, from “Pet Sematary” to this! For me, these very two (and the short story “The Jaunt”) are the most viscerally horrifying of King’s body of work. So unsettling and… fundamental, in a way? Primal horror at its finest. I’m much more comfortable in Derry or Ft. Worth, but “Revival” has a psychological mastery that’s hard to harness.

Dude that was an awesome review man. Dude yea chapter 3 is some of kings best writing. Hell yea more king is great. Hell even some of his short stories like croch,'s end or the jaunt would be dope to talk about.
