Nisha is right about Asfi, 'uss ka character halka hae'. Nisha or anyone could not force him to leave Meesha, if he did not want to . Moreover, he is an abuser. Although I have not watched the entire drama, but saw a scene where he physically abused Meesha too, pushed her when she was pregnant. I am keenly awaiting to see how the writer concludes Asfi's character. A mere regret on his part cannot absolve him of his sins.

I don't follow Raaz e Ulfat in true spirit though but I watch reviews and I know of it ! I want to particularly point out about what you said regarding Ismail's ( Gohar's) looks ! Agar sab Macho hojaingay to realistic kaun bachega ? Aam Aadmi ki representation kaise hogi ? Is it always necessary for a particular character to "look" pyaara so that he / she can match with their "pretty" partner ? Isn't character important? Isn't chemistry important regardless ! When we talk about Raaz E Ulfat in particular , if Gohar looked all stylish and savvy , would that magically help Mushk to think " no he is better looking , oh I am in love in a jiffy " ! We already had Irtaza , a pompous and suited booted hero ! Here the emphasis is more on the human virtues ! Gohar has his own charm and it's about his character ! For every "not so stylish " Ismail , we do have a stylish Asfand who has a Pyaari Nisha but they are engaged in Abuse ! It never stays at looks ! Kindly see the chemistry part ! Definitely Raaz e Ulfat is dramatic and stretched like anything , but kindly see the performances here in particular and see the nuances in Ismail and Mushk's chemistry ! Looks can wait in this particular case I think ! Arundhati Roy ki lines yaad aagayi " It all started when the love laws were made , laws that define that Who is to be loved , How and How Much " !!! Pakistani dramas have made the violence against women a norm for the audiences. I'm a college student here in NYC. A professor once showed us a movie in class where a guy slapped a girl, all the students were shocked and astonished at the scene and I was sitting there calmly like nothing happened. It had me thinking why wasn't I shocked as everyone else, and trust me when I tell you I got my answer while watching a Pakistani drama that we are so used to seeing women being hit in every drama that it has maybe become a part of our subconscious

Jalan is indeed very intriguing.. I have to say Prem gali is getting boring and it's not a family drama anymore... Completely agree with your views on Jalan. As for Raaz e Ulfat, I wrote that before and am copying it again as far as Mushk and her dilemma is concerned... It's always been a treat to watch your reviews!! One thing I like to say about Raaz e Ulfat is that Irtiza certainly don't deserve Mushk and Under ideal conditions Ismail don't deserve her either! But look at the circumstances.... Good or bad, Mushk is now married to Ismail. In this situation, if Mushk leaves Ismail, those little children who went through a trauma after their mother's death and now find this lady whom they are calling "mama", What's the justification for them? Ismail and kids did nothing wrong! Now the other side of picture is that Mushk has done nothing wrong of this extent to deserve this baggage of Ismail so she should leave both of them and start her own life. I mean Why? She could do it even during her married life to continue studies and let's not forget the society. There is this stereotype approach towards divorcee and Mushk has the background of a kidnapped girl and one called off marriage too. She hasn't completed her studies either so Mushk also doesn't have very much to rely on. And even if she would leave both of them and marry someone else, she still has to raise kids. So What's so bad in raising orphan kids of Ismail? I know Ending of Mushk with Ismail isn't a Happy ending. It's not an ideal situation and let me make myself crystal clear. I DON'T SUPPORT FORCED MARRIAGES. But in this particular scenario, it's not right to divorce Ismail. AND I WOULD LOVE TO SEE SCRIPTS AND DRAMAS WHERE GIRLS END UP WITH THEIR BELOVEDS GRACEFULLY AND WOMEN'S LOVE IS NOT TRIVIALISED LIKE AMNA SAID. And in the end I would like to quote Hazrat Umar (R.A) who said, "“Must every house be built on love? What about loyalty and appreciation?” And I felt that! 😊 Peace!

Salam Hasan and Aamna Lots of duas for you both plus your team I just only want to mention this thing that the character of Javaid Sheikh shown in Prem gali is actually Saba Pervaiz's (shireen) husband 😊When they show us flash backs of shireen and his husband they show Shahzad sheikh as a husband of Shireen ( now he is grown up 😂)and that day of shadi he send a gift which shireen never delivered to Zoha ( javaid sheikh's daughter)

I completely AGREE with amna in terms of raaz e ulfat!!!!! Gohar actually looked good in the hall on the nikkah day of komal and shezad. There was a scene in the hall where gohar's hair randomly looks like he had a clean nice haircut.

@@indupandey6546 oh yeah absolutely he deserves to be punished but it looks like this might only be shown as financial loss or maybe via his child, lets see but it does look like they are letting him off by showing him having some regret, unfortunately his regret is meaningless when a life has been lossed and when he chose to have regret so late in the day.
