Jimmy Cornette said it best, "Wrestling went from being a working that everyone thinks you're killing each other to everyone actually killing each other and no one believes it!"

What happened to Conrads title belts? He was the most decorated title holder in history.

That bump was lame as hell. I remember watching that hell in a cell live and being worked up for it. They kept highlighting foley and Michael’s going off the cage so you were pumped for it to happen. Dad who thought wrestling was funny, walked in watched the rock, stone cold, the undertaker, Kurt angle, hhh and rikishi come to the ring. As soon as he saw rikishi he went “yep the pig in a thong is going off the top” and then when McMahon brought down the truck he said “and he’s going on the hay” then moved on. I was 12-13 at the time and thought my dad was god when everything he said would happen, happened .

Totally agree with Bruce on this. No need for it.

A friend of mine was at that pay per view. He said Rikishi falling off the cage looked awesome because from where he was sitting he couldn't see the truck. He just saw Rikishi fall off backwards from the cage.

I didn't like that spot/bump either, it was very anticlimactic, and the rest of it was great. I felt it took away from the match, because the first thing I thought of when Rikishi got close to the edge was Foley, and how it wasn't going to come close to that... You didn't see the Mick spot coming, you saw the Rikishi spot coming from a mile away.

Can we please just get an entire video where Bruce answers every question as Jim Cornette?

You can’t have a motorized vehicle with a gas tank indoors but you can surround a ring with Fire indoors?

It was cool. Relax Bruce. The match called for that moment and it was safe, considering Taker is not stiff especially when throwing guys off cells and Kish had a plethora of padding lol. It was a nice bump/spot in the match.
@rumarspencer73029 ай бұрын
But you understand Bruce's point, the way Rikishi was pushed from off the cage on his back, that far down, was scary and dangerous, when it could've been worse. Though Taker was tried his best to be careful with it, but it still was dangerous and risky, never want to see that.

@@rumarspencer7302 No I don’t, Bruce is Bruce lol. Risks have to be taken sometimes. If this was just a one off, it had to be done. It was freakin’ Hell In A Cell with all the company’s top talent and to close the year 2000. Everything was fine as is. No major injuries in the match, everything was done safely. It delivered. Bruce can pipe it.

@PWEKingDanParadox If it had turn out worse, you would feel differently, or else you wouldn't make such a dum childish statement.

@@rumarspencer7302 So are we gonna start bitching about the spots/bumps that Mick took in his Hell In A Cell match with Taker or are we simply gonna thank him for doing what needed to be done and making wrestling history? That’s what I meant dumb dumb.
@rumarspencer73029 ай бұрын
@PWEKingDanParadox Mick is a risk taker anyway, that's no surprise, difference is Mick told Taker to throw him off the cage into the table, big difference little kid.

Yeah, I remember seeing this live, and it just feeling like a way to recapture Foley's bump 2 years prior. It looked very staged. I'm glad it was miles safer than Foley's bump, but when it looks fake....why do it?

The hay ruined it, just no reason in kayfabe for it to be there although it was a dangerous bump
