Sometimes Labels Fail - Sanders Sides [Podfic]

CW: Mentions of School Shootings, Gun Violence, Surgery, Child Abuse, Blood, and Injury.
Summary - Logan was good at labels, at categories. Logan sorted the citizens of his city into 6 different categories in his mind: heroes, villains, vigilantes, criminals, government authorities, and civilians, and knew how to deal with each. But… but what was he supposed to do with him.
Virgil was just trying to survive, though he didn’t think the part of him that compelled him to throw himself into fights whenever he saw the superhero Bluebird struggling had gotten the memo. His English teacher was right; he really was stupid.
When the villain criminal… when Shadow Caster gets injured while throwing himself into the line of fire for Logan, Logan can’t find it in himself to turn him over to be arrested. Luckily, he knows a doctor very, very well.
Virgil is going to get kidnapped adopted by the end of it.

1:22:32 After reading the extended world of the fic, I am pleasantly surprised that the one with pull was not Bluebird, but, rather, Patton. Specifically, Patton is close with the Mayor, whom he saved with surgery before she was mayor and who is happily married to another woman. Also Logan is awkward with her because as Bluebird he works with her and gets along well but he doesn't want to let anything slip as a civilian. I freaking love the Mayor and her family.

Wait. The are is MisplacedMyNotes? Isn't that the same person who wrote the Victorian Logince au where Thomas is a writer researching the late poet Roman Kingsly because he believes the poems he wrote were about another man and to research he goes to what ends up being a haunted house where he interviews a ghost? Because that writing is also really good and I highly recommend reading it. (I think the title has something to do with Hands and Time???)

I'm not sure if it's explained well in this one but in some of the other stories in this universe it's explained better. He didn't, he was at the school that day because it was his school and he helped Bluebird take down the person that did.
