Maple seems present in the atmosphere, the trees, the sky, and the wind and Cherry is absolutely aware of Maple's presence. I enjoyed the company of two brother cats who were incredibly close. They talked to each other in silence and sat side by side for years after their other family members passed. I think of them all everyday and know they are with me still and I with them. Cherry definitely is in sync with Maple still. Hope you get another dog soon to keep Cherry company.

This found me as I've been grieving the loss of my girl. Its only been 1 month. 17 years ago she found me. Pets rescue you, you just don't know it. That's what makes these videos so incredibly endearing. The entire presentation. It would be very easy to make a similar video with a cute dog and a talented fingerstyle player. But it's that extra effort that gives these videos that magic. The cinematography, subtle edits, crisp audio in a quiet background and cool locations. Even something as simple as a quick b role shot of the dog adds a lot. That attention to detail gives it emotion. It's more art and less of just another nice KZbin cover.

I lost my 7 year old Angel Molly to cancer two weeks ago. It has always been obvious how much Maple means to you. I miss my little girl more than anything. I don't normally comment but after watching this thing's came flooding back and I need to say thank you. I lost my dog to cancer in April 2021, in her last month's I bought a thumb piano to play for her and it very much helped her to relax and unwind. When I saw your saying goodbye video a few months later it brought back a lot of feelings and I cried my eyes out both for me and you. Seeing this video today brought back a lot of upset but also a lot of happiness, the nostalgia & warmth that comes through is all encompassing and the effort you've put in to this is clear to see and shows what Maple still means to you, and of course, Cherry is as adorable as ever. I'm happy to see you're healing, I know we've never met but I feel we've walked the same path at the same time. Your videos became a part of my grieving process, helping me realise that I need to grieve and though I'll never get over losing her I was able to carry on knowing she'll always live on in my heart and soul. Thank you. I became a member of your channel back when Maple was still with us. When Maple passed away, it made me think about my family's aging dogs and that eventually, they too will depart this life. Recently, this Octorber, my family's dogs passed away within 5 days of each other and devasted my family and me. I keep finding myself mistakingly hear their feet tapping the floor, or the jingle of their collars, and i sometimes stare at places around the house where they normally would be. It's so hard living in a world without them. They were apart of my daily life, part of my family, my home, but I have to force myself to move forward because there is nothing i can do but to move forward. Thank you for your videos, because they help me move forward while accepting the pain. The pain that's attached to all the loving moments I had with them. And by accepting the pain into my heart, I can keep my love for them in my heart. And thats what I truly want, to have them with me as I move forward. Thank you

It’s gonna get better but you’ll remember her forever. I am a suicide loss survivor and although it’s been two years and he was my friend.mentor and colleague of over 6 years, I still miss him. Looking at random people who look like him - makes me think about him. I am doing better now. I think about him. I still cry. But I know he’s with me forever. And this is as good as it’s going to get. The memories have fainted and I don’t remember him as often I used to - but it feels really nice when the gush of memories comes rushing and places in my mind like a movie.

We suddenly found my 3 year old Komondor dead on the porch steps a few days ago, on the first of this month, completely unknown causes. No sign of struggle or health issues prior; he was a perfectly healthy, very young boy with perfect lineage, and was taken from us in the blink of an eye. He came home today for the final time, and I busted up into tears when this came across my front page. I got no time to grieve for him as I had to leave for a family trip across the country only ten minutes after we found him dead. Your music and love for your dogs has always brought me comfort, and so much more so now. Thank you for everything you do, and for everything Maple and Cherry have done.
