Here is the extended version of "Somewhere That's Green" from Little Shop of Horrors, in which Audrey daydreams of a better life out of Skid Row.
This scene comes from a work print dated August 22, 1986. Appropriate footage from the final film (sourced from the Blu-ray release) has been edited in, while the workprint footage has been edited to match the framing of the final footage.

The song presentation has some wonderful light comedy moments, but the feeling overall is wistful, even melancholy. Seeing her raise up her arm, reaching for this unattainable dream at the end of the song is beautiful enough, but when I finally saw the original ending (that includes the reprise of this song), I was unexpectedly moved to see that motion repeated just before she passed away. Very impactful. So many versions of this movie, yet somehow I love them all!

The incredibly sad thing about Audrey’s dream is that a house like that became possible to own back then but even now 60 years on, getting a house, mortgage etc is incredibly difficult (going by the films timeline of 1961, not the actual release in 1986)
