Minzy is a hiphop based dancer and Somi was under I.O.I in cute concept, making them do feminine dance to show off sexiness is too much for one week as its their first time working together and the judge had said that their sense of rythm is definitely different

Kpop instructors only like feminine and uniform dances for girl groups. In my opinion Minzy has more power and interesting moves when she dances. That’s why I don’t like watching girl idol groups MV, cuz their dance isn’t very interesting.

i think for the experience they have this assignment wasn't hard. if this were an actual idol competition i think they definitely would've taken this way more seriously and been a bit more in sync. but the criticism that the choreographers gave them wasnt that harsh

minzy's preference and style of dance is much more powerful compared to Full Moon so of course transitioning from powerful hip hop moves to a more softer and sophisticated style will be awkward and stiff at first. but she's good and no one can deny that 😍

I understood what the male judge meant by stiff. At the beginning of the dance you could tell that Minzy was slightly off while somi was more fluid. Due to the fact that she isn't familiar with this type of dance style she seemed stiff and was not softening her lines. Minzy recovered towards the end though.

If they asked pre-debut Minzy to do this, she could've nailed it effortlessly. But after debut, her body got used to hiphop dances, add to it the fact that she ACTUALLY studied PROPER hiphop dance which is far from doing body waves that Kpop seems to love. 'Stiff' is just not a proper term to describe it. They haven't seen actual stiff people trying to dance. She is dancing to her style, and it's still executed with quality according to her style.

The dance instructor pointed it out perfectly, Minzy is a master, one of the best when she dance her fierce style, but because of her expertise, when she transition to soft moves, she clearly was not used to it, when he said stiff, it means that she hestitated in some moves, which is quite clear if you paid close attention to the performance. I believe this will be very good for her growth as a dancer, she wont be just fierce but can control when she want to be fierce and when she want to be smooth, like what BOA and Hyoyeon is capable of.

I don't understand what the guy teacher was saying. Minzy is anything but stiff. 😂 I thought she moved very fluidly in this, actually. I mean, she is an excellent dancer, after all. But I can agree to the girl teacher about them not having very symmetric/in-sync hand movements at some points. Overall, still a great job for Minzy & Somi. They retained the sultriness of the Full Moon choreo even if they injected some of their own moves. 😊

I'm pretty sure the judges were just harder on Minzy and Somi because they're dancers and have had more training than the others. Plus, since it's a variety show I guess it was to add a dynamic to it? Idk, I think the girls did fine but to keep them "humble" (like Abby Lee Miller says - Dance Moms) you can't tell them that :P

I think he only gave that as an excuse to fail them. They weren't stiff they were just too lax, the guy must've had a bigger expectation specially on Minzy since its her field of expertise for 10 years+ already and is proffesional. But all in all they were great and the girl instructor has sum it up more on what the duo lacks.

saw the dance part,hard to admit but Somi suited the dance more than Minzg esp in the 1st few seconds..our maknae is used to hiphop & freestyling but 2ne1 was rarely doing sexy concepts so she was prolly nervous in performing this choreo tho she slowly gained momentum & eventually felt the sexiness of the choreo near the end..Anyway,hoping Minzy took it as a positive criticism..she's a legendary dancer but she wasn't exposed to diff genres but she is free to do so now..fighting Minzy-ah!!!!!

Honestly speaking we must admit it that although Minzy is considered " a legendary dancer " her performance was indeed quite stiff , which shows that she is only used to more rough dancing . So technically he was right when saying that the performance was stiff and failing them , as they are idols , and should be an example to the other Unnies . On the other hand , unlike Minzy , Somi wasn't stiff but very alluring and smooth , which showcases that she can adapt faster to various styles . I know these girls are very hardworking , so I hope Minzy can take this critique and practice , like she always had . Somi was great , which is why that is disappointing . Fighting !

OK so I get that this is a girl group project but like wtf - Sook is a comedian and her job is to make people laugh not look like a pro at dancing. Obviously she wasn't taking the choreo at the most serious level but the judges could've cut her some slack and loosen up the atmosphere - this isn't Produce 101 or Show Me The Money for god's sake... IT'S A VARIETY SOMEBODY REMIND THAT TO THE JUDGES ! If they really wanted to let Sook know her faults they could've used humor / satire at least...

I didn't saw some flaws on their dance, Minzy is really incredible, even if she's into hip hop moves, she can do some sexy/softer moves too. their are some videos that can prove it when she's still in YG. Anyways, it's the Dance Teacher's opinion or perspective so, I can't argue on that bec i'm not that expert. haha But for me, Minzy is the best! I think if Minzy was still in YG they would be in YG's practice room not in JYP's hahahhahah

i like season 1 the best, to be honest season 1 got me the feelling like the version female of infinity challenge, i mean they got challenge but playful have really fun and not so stiff right now, the best part is that there conversation is really interesting. talk about life, husband, kid, what they been through and wise joke. because they old enough and experion alot so they different from young girl. and now the show is good too but not "kick ass" like the 1 season

I agree on what they had commented about Minsomae... it is their assignment to practice and get in-synced... Although they dance beautifully, it is like watching two different kind of dance while having the same steps... the feeling of their dance is not the same... IMHO 😍
