Paul , let me direct this comment directly to you ( and I hope you read these ) . Many years ago, when “In the living years” came out , I heard it in the perifery of my life . And my life was sort of in turmoil , and not being into music in those times , I knew the song had gold , but I couldn’t get myself to listen to it , except occasionally when some d.j.played it . Now, I’m going on 82 , and my life is well-settled , and I have access to KZbin , I’ve gotten back to that incredible song . . .and a number of others of yours : “Eyes of Blue” , “Love will keep us alive” , and many more , and discovered for myself what an incredible singer/songwriter/musician you are . Pure gold ! And having seen interviews you’ve done , I’m convinced that as a human being , you are outstanding . Humble , sensitive , intelligent , very humane and much more . At this late stage of my life I feel thankful that I’ve found you and plan to include listening to you and your delightful music for many years to come . “ In the living years” has become sort of an anthem for me , and I play it ( over and over ) at least 4 - 5 times a week , and I sing along at the top of my voice ( with tears in my eyes every single time ). God bless and keep your music coming ! George Lewis, Sr.

Is soul a color? I thought it was love, life and pain...and the recognition of those who have gone through it, when you F'ing hear it. If you think it can be faked, then you have to walk a mile in those shoes.
@TheDeadra525024 күн бұрын
I can tell you with absolute certainty that “Soul” is not a color, it is a feeling that comes from the depths of the human heart, spirit and mind. It encompasses every aspect of being supremely blessed as a human being and trusting the process of living life to the fullest with faith and gratitude, and in sharing the gift you have received, bringing joy to the heart of others.
