my favourite thing about this dlc is that it really does make it seem like the apocalypse because every time I shoot something my game freezes and I die because of it.

TheMostRandomName same for me (on PS4). I even tried loading into a map prior to this dlc and had the same problem. Must be something to do with the game's storage, takes up almost 80 gb now. Ironically though as soon as I noticed the problem I went on a 10 kill streak, I wonder if my enemies had the problem

Yes this was a very horrible battle. New arrivals on the frontline and first time in the trenches, seen that the trench walls were made higher by stacking bodies into the wall.

When we heard that the last DLC would be “apocalypse” we expected something epic to wrap up BF1. Instead, we got a few crappy new guns, three decent infantry maps, a new game mode nobody wanted, and two maps exclusive to said gamemode that nobody will ever play. Can’t win ‘em all I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ See you all in BF 2018!

Wish it was this smooth on console. I play on xbox one, and the frame rate drops like hell when you are shooting an enemy, or capturing a flag. But, the maps are good, and that new support weapon is a beast.

I don't see a problem personally. Historically, conquest assault was always part of conquest since the beginning. It started in BF1942 where you had a ton of them and people didn't have a problem with it. I think the problem is that people forgot how to play them. I still remember Wake Island, Monte Cassino, Omaha Beach and Sharqui peninsula as easy exemples of maps where you HAD to play defensively. Actually, I think it's weird that Dice did not include them right from the start, it would have made more sense

Thomas Cantrell normal conquest: both sides start on their spawn, all flags are neutral at the beginning of the round Conquest assault: defending side starts with all flags, attacking side must capture all of them.

For anyone who doesn't know, there's items on the one map where if you pick them up you melee enemies to get the lore and also after 5 kills you get a broke bottle as a weapon. If anyone actually cares.

Hey I was checking out the sugar factory in the back of the map and if you hold the interact button on the mill at the bottom near the valve next to the smoke stack you’ll get a bottle as a melee weapon until you drop it

Imagine if the next BF game took place in WWII, massive tank battles between Tigers and T-34's, artillery barrages, thousands of wehrmacht and red army soldiers fighting for the rubble of Stalingrad, and thrilling aerial battles between ME 109's and Spitfires. Dice can create an amazing immersive game, expanding the quality from the superb BF1. WWII is a great setting, and offers great potential in game making. Let me know what you guys think as BF fans.

Challenge - on the map CAPORETTO there is a train near objective E it has a wine bottle on the edge of the train which you can pick up, I’m pretty sure you can melee someone with it, I have yet to succeed.

I'm using wired and it's stuttering on PS4. Dice have fucked it up again. Every time you get a kill it stops for a second. 2 of the maps are conquest assault. I hate that mode.

I'm not sure if you've already covered this, but on the map zebrugge, If you go underneath the crane/tower closest to the end of the pier, you can hear morse code after about 5 seconds of waiting. You've probably already covered this but I might as well let you know just in case lol

so far i so good love the new maps, found some interesting things on the map, for example on the somme map over by the F flag there is a wine bottle on the floor which you can pick up and one shot any one. i only found it once and it breaks as soon as you have killed someone, i saw it in this video as well but jack didn't notice it. also i found a record player on one of the other new maps which plays the battlefield 1 theme song. not sure what they are.
