I thought at the beginning we're told that Elaine ran a small shop. Towards the end Travis was withdrawing a lot of money from the company's account. Doesn't sound like a very small shop. Daniel talked about inheritance which gave Travis an idea of getting rid of his mother. We're also told that Travis' friends were from wealthy families, how come they thought of stealing if they had enough money to live as they pleased? Secondly it wasn't Travis' idea to steal from the house. He only went with the tide. Lastly it wasn't Travis who killed the care taker. How come he was the only one who needed to be convicted? I don't think it was due to betraying his mother. Where were the other culprits and more so the murderer? In the end though Travis got what he deserved. By the way who reported Travis' mother?
