Son Kul Lake: One of Kyrgyzstan's Gems

Kyrgyzstan is full of many natural wonders. Among them, Son Kul is definitely my favorite place in Kyrgyzstan. A beautiful blue pearl of water surrounded by rolling green hills. Dotted around the lake are traditional yurt camps, filled with families well prepared to offer travellers a real taste of nomadic life
Song Kul is a place where time can assume its natural, languid pace. The lake’s silence and transcendent calm is an immediate antidote to stress and tension. Surrounded by green pastures and snow-capped summits, this sky-blue lake is breathtakingly beautiful. Lake Song-Kul offers a truly immersive experience into the Kyrgyz culture. You can discover pastoral life in the vast expanses of grasslands, surrounded by mountains. The slender silhouettes of horses and white yurts blend harmoniously into this mountain scenery. Soak up the vast blue skies, revel in the silence and marvel at Kyrgyzstan’s stark natural beauty.

Serene, turquoise crystal clear water of Son Kul lake situated amidst sprawling meadows is amazing and mesmerising. Very true... Its length and breadth are so vast that it looks as if the earth is neaing to its end on the other side. The local festival on the bank of Son Kul lake is not only fascinating but also exhibits a galaxy of events lined up, not only to entertain visitors but thrills an exhilarating experience. It is simply amazing. One would definitely love to visit such a place on top priority.. Too good Abhishek..
