I see it more as as they look at each other, they reflect on the past, and remember the good times initially, however the longer they look, the bitterness rises again. They recall all the horrors, and how their relationship devolved into hurt.

I'm so late to this but the first part to me was showing how her behaviours did not change, so the guy was reflecting on how she did the same with him. The dancing, putting on lipstick her romance with the guy on the train was everything he also experienced with her. Then she saw him and started to cry and they went down memory lane to the end of their relationship and the woman he was now on the train with is who he was cheating on her with causing all the fights in their relationship. But they clearly have unresolved feelings for each other because as she started to kiss her current lover to show off on her ex lover, the ex lover was becoming angry with jealousy.

As someone that been in toxic relationship I can totally relate to this video. The song is beautiful it brings back so many memories both painful and emotionally challenging. It's so hard being in a toxic relationship for me it was also twined with love so raw , deep and fierce that the relationship although with the amount of pain was right! For anyone in a relationship like this I hope you don't have to go through to much pain before you both see that the relationship is the worst thing for the both of you ! This music video is so cool. When I think of the title and the events of the video I think about the alternate worlds of love and hate and especially how it's really heavy on touch. Touch can used in love and in hate obviously posing two completely different worlds I guess, the only common denominator being touch. I also liked how it shifted at "tear me away from this fight" to more hateful touch than the loving touch in the beginning. Really love Son Lux, and was super excited to see him on the Art Assignment KZbin channel

May 21,2024, just finished a movie that was released in 2017 with this song playing during the ending credits. I was immediately completely enthralled with everything about this music. Captivating! Can't believe I've never heard of this band before nor have I heard any songs played anywhere on any station here in San Antonio Texas. I rewatched this and realized something. Their love was always a tragedy. Every scene in the beginning that felt intimate ended with fighting and conflict. She was in the train crying and remembering this, she turns to when they were having sex and she feels this angst wash over and use her anger to make him jealous. in the end he walks away in distaste over their clashing souls.

Till this day this is one of my favorite videos of all time. I only just took the time to read the comments to see others interpretation of this video, perception is really ones truth. To me this video depicted a man who saw his ex on the train and as he looked at her he realised that her behaviours with her new boyfriend/ fling was exactly the same with him. The scarf she wore, the stockings, the lipstick, her dancing, everything he thought was special and exclusive to him he observed her doing the exact same with someone else and became angry and jealous. When she spotted her ex with his new girlfriend she was reminded of why a once happy relationship fell apart as she saw him there with the woman that was the cause of their unhappiness and demise, this made her sad and pushed her to act with the guy she was with in a manner as though she moved on when really she did not. He eventually came off the train angered by the entire charade.
